Make yourselves at home in this gorgeous 5-bedroom 3-1/2 large bath, spacious Franklin Retreat. This fabulous cabin boasts high cathedral ceilings, distinctive lighting, beautiful wood throughout, and open floor plan; King bed in the primary bedroom; 3 Queen beds and 1 twin/trundle bed, perfect for a group getaway. With three floors, all guests will love their privacy. Enjoy the well planned amenities including inviting fire pit, central heat and air, open and private decks, fully equipped kitchen, gas grill, 3 TV's and huge family room with an amazing foosball table. Franklin NC is located in the foothills of some of the oldest mountains in the world. There are innumerable waterfalls for you to discover and hiking trails to explore. Wildlife abounds and you will see beautiful animals in their natural habitats.

Our Four Seasons are varied and extraordinary, from winter snow skiing, gorgeous flowering plants and songbirds in springtime, hummingbirds, white water rafting, bass - trout - and fly fishing; boating and cool mountain hikes throughout summer; to spectacular fall colors as trees transform from vivid greens to bright oranges. More mountains appear as the leaves fall, and mountain views surround this lovely vacation town in the Great Smoky Mountains.

And in case you haven't heard, Franklin is considered the "Gem Capital of the World." We have mines where you can find rubies, sapphires and emeralds to treasure, or wander and browse at our annual gem shows.

Franklin is a charming town with plenty of shopping for the whole family, from antiques and elegant gifts, to mountain crafts and flea markets. And Franklin offers outstanding live entertainment at The Great Smoky Mountain Theater, drawing audiences for a wide variety of shows.

You'll find all the grocery stores and amenities you'd like, and excellent restaurants to please every palate. Per un po' di sano shopping, invece, ci sono Mason Mountain Mine e Whistle Stop Mall. Anche Ruby City Gems & Minerals e Parker Meadows Park meritano una visita. Mi è piaciuto: Pulizia
Clean house, looks brand new inside and out. Beds are very comfy, kitchen is stocked with anything you need to cook, grill, or bake with. The drive out to the house is a few miles from Franklin but easy access. We grew up in the NC mountains so the road wasn’t a big deal, but the driveway is gravel and pretty steep. Saw a gray fox, many deer, and other wildlife. Highly recommend the property.
