Rivers Edge Cabin - Swim - Kayak - Fish From Your Backyard !!!!

Situato alla base della gola del fiume Cullasaja, a 5 miglia da Franklin, la cabina lungo il fiume offre un facile accesso all'acqua. 10 miglia da Highlands, NC. Rilassati sul ponte aperto al suono dell'acqua di montagna che scorre veloce o ... meglio ancora ... saltaci dentro!

La cucina è aperta con un tavolo da pranzo e una zona bar. È dotato di pentole, utensili, stoviglie, macchina per il caffè, tostapane e altro ancora. La cabina è completamente fornita di lenzuola, lenzuola, asciugamani e coperte. L'area coperta ha molto spazio per godersi la vita all'aria aperta, cucinare grigliate a gas o semplicemente rilassarsi sull'acqua. La cabina è dotata di radio Wi-Fi e XM. La zona giorno è dotata di TV a schermo piatto (con Netflix) e lettore DVD con un assortimento di film. Ci sono anche due aree del portico chiuso che sono perfette per i giorni di pioggia. Più tubi, kayak e pozzo del fuoco!

Scopri la bellezza di 3 cascate ..... (Dry Falls, Bridal Veil Falls, Cullasaja Gorge). Fai un'escursione sui numerosi sentieri di Nantahala come la California Ridge e il Ranger Fall Loop. Fai una ricerca delle gemme native a Jackson Hole e visita il Wilderness Taxidermy Museum. Tutti i vantaggi in più a pochi minuti da questa posizione privilegiata!

Loved being right on the water. It was a short drive to waterfalls and the highlands downtown. We loved the visiting the dry falls which was only about 10 min drive from the property. Additionally, it was nice to just hang at the house, play in the water and grill out dinner. We plan on returning soon!

Great stay!

Everything was perfect, including the new mirror, with one exception. I was in town visiting aged parent so Wi-Fi was important for my downtime. Unfortunately it was very frustrating because I had to reboot the modem a minimum of 5 times a day and on one occasion as many as 15 times. If you don’t need Wi-Fi it’s a great place to stay. Very clean and kitchen had all the necessary items for cooking.

It is a beautiful, very clean older place. It was easy to find. The only drawback was the neighbor with the red SUV. On our first morning there, she banged on the door actually scaring us. We had parked in the gravel in front of our cottage. She informed us with balled up fists on her hips that we had to move our vehicle. Later, we drove how she could have gone around us. We were not blocking her in.

My kids had a blast playing on the river all day!! We only stayed for 3 nights, but I'll definitely come back for longer next time!! I did check out early on a Sunday, so I brought the trash to the recycling center Saturday before they closed, a slight inconvenience, but I would'nt ding them for that.

Wonderful weekend stay!

This property is exactly right for a summer weekend away - the water access cannot be beat and lots of great hiking nearby. The cabin is comfortable and well equipped. It was really special to be able to bring our dog- she loved sitting on the front porch watching the fireflies (and rabbits) in the field.

Can’t wait to come back!

Super spot for me near the bottom of the Franklin-Highlands road. I was there for a family emergency, but I can’t wait to come back and put those kayaks to good use. There was an administrative issue that created some problems with check-in, but the hosts did everything they could to resolve the issue. Great people! Being able to sit out on the back porch over the Culasaja River was so peaceful and I really enjoyed listening to the roiling water as I drifted off to sleep. The bed was very comfortable and I had everything I needed except a full length mirror. Thank you so much! Can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful Cabin on the River

One of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed. It is right on the river so we stayed on the deck most of the time we were at the cabin and listened to the river and watched and fed the geese and their babies as they swam by. Coffee in the mornings and reading on the deck was so relaxing while enjoying the river. The cabin was very clean and had everything you needed to make it feel like home. We highly recommend this cabin.

Excellent Water Therapy

The house is cute and has everything needed for a relaxing and calming time. Being able to sit outside and listen to the water rushing by and taking a quick dip or raft, kayak trip was also a wonderful experience. My doggo also had a wonderful timne playing and he felt super relaxed in the space as well.

Lovely cottage on the river

This charming cabin on the river was perfect for our 3-day stay in the Franklin area. Furnishings were comfortable and the cabin was cozy and warm during the cool evenings. The deck looked so inviting but the drizzly cold weather kept us from spending our evenings out there. Next time!

Fall Escape

This property is ideal. Right on the river. Can walk down and wade or sit in chairs at water. Minutes from Franklin. It does have neighbors across river and beside home but that didn’t take away from peaceful location.

Beautiful and Relaxing

We were looking for a relaxing cabin on a river and THIS was the perfect place! 4 days of beauty right out the back door! While enjoying coffee each morning and a cold beverage at night, we were drawn to take in the view, the sound of the river and the peacefulness of nature. We will definitely be back!
