“The room was very clean and friendly staff”

“The room was good. Needs a bit of maintenance. The view was absolutely wonderful. The door handle lock to the balcony was broken, but since we were on the third floor, I was not too worried. There were ants in the bathroom and in some other parts of the room. The location was great. The beach is right across from the lodge. And the fairgrounds are very near and an easy walk to the boat launches. The breakfast is ok. There is syrup, but no waffle makers or frozen waffles/pancakes to use it on....

“We liked that it is nice and quiet and they let us do an early check-in. What we didn’t like was that the electrical room was right beside our room and when we were in the hall, there was a bad smell that smelled like a dead rat.”

“entry/exit door was uneven, extremely hard to open. Maintenance (possible owner) called, he had to kick the door to show us how to open it. Reserved a handicap accessible online, but it didn't show that in her computer (?), luckily they had 1 left.”
