“When we checked in the cabin was dirty. There were cooked tater tots in the oven. Toilets were dirty . Concerns about stairs going to the lake are rotting way. Definitely not safe the hand rail go up the stairs is very lose and the first step going in bad shape aslo. The view from the deck is nice. The dock is definitely wouldn't go on .”

“What an incredible nature oasis! We loved kayaking, letting the dogs swim in the river, and having bonfires. There were many beautiful native plants and so much wildlife- a fox, a river otter, an owl, and some mud turtles! The cabin was a perfect size and well maintained. Would recommend for a peaceful getaway!”

“The property was very similar to the photos, with a short walk to the river access. We had been concerned that the cabin would be smaller than expected for four adults, but it was very spacious and generally comfortable. The kitchen is well supplied with pots, pans, dishes, glasses, and cooking essentials, but there was no coffee. The only issue was that the bunk beds were uncomfortable and very, very squeaky. Any slight movement caused a squeak, and it was so hard to sleep that one person...

“Wish check-in time could be earlier, 4 pm wastes the whole day, noon or 1 would be better especially since we paid for the whole day. Enjoyed the screened-in porch after I swept the leaves outside and cleaned the table and chairs; they were very dirty. Wish we could have used the gas grill but it needs cleaning as well as the kitchen oven needs cleaning. The railings on both the deck and stairways outside are in need of repair, loose boards and weak from the weather. Both sliding door locks...
