Hotel a Freixo de Numão

“This is hands down one of the prettiest and coolest properties you can stay in, in rural Portugal. The property, room and pool and service was amazing, but the town itself situated in is also just one of the coolest experiences. So many handmade items included in your stay and available to purchase. The host is amazing, super friendly and laid back. The grounds were beautiful, unique and has so much character. We stayed here for a night after taking the train into Pochino and it was one of the...

“The room was very clean and comfortable. Paula at the front desk was very friendly and helpful.”

Zona tranqiilla , vicino a tutti i caratteristici ristoranti”

“Our stay at Casa do Rio was exceptional. There are 10 rooms with stunning views of the Douro River and vineyards. Our room was spotless and tastefully decorated, and we were welcomed with a plate of fresh figs and white port and all ingredients to make portonics. The grounds are lovely with an infinity pool overlooking the river and two semi private fresh water dunking pools. The food and was outstanding! We made our dinner selections earlier in the day and were treated to an exquisite...

“Everything was great except the shower was a little annoying since you had to press every 45 seconds or so because it would turn off automatically. The breakfast wasn’t much of a breakfast ham and cheese, bread and cereal. Other than that the staff was friendly it was clean and it was in a cute little village.”

“Amazing 3 night stay here with the family. Beautiful property. Exceptional service and great food. Highly recommend!”
