“We had only 2 nights and were fairly busy, so didn't get to enjoy surroundings and the property so much, but if you're looking for a place to crash, do some surfing, walks on the beach, have a great coffee from the coffee truck right across the road, watch something on netflix when it's all done, this is your spot! ”

“Frances was more accommodating than any host we’ve encountered in any country. She met us upon arrival, explained a few things, made two restaurant reservations for us, changed one on the day of, provided directions, rebooted internet immediately, and left cream for our coffee. She even had fresh flowers throughout the house. Her place is a perfect location to sit and watch all the port and harbor activity, walk to several restaurants and cafes, but easy to take tunnel into Christchurch....

“We spent 5 nights in this property and it exceeded our expectations. The location is spectacular, watching sunrise each morning from the main bed was memorable. The thoughtful design features in the house including doubled glazed windows, fireplace with plenty of wood and heated floors in the bathroom made us feel cosy on winter days.
