Had an absolutely fantastic time. The property exceeded all expectations. The pool and bbq area was brilliant and there are wonderful views of sea and mountains. From the various different aspects of the property. Wide variety of well thought out sitting areas. Great walking and hiking accessible directly from the house and Frigiliana also easily accessible. The communications from Carmen and Alfonso who also met us on arrival and gave us a helpful tour of the property. Great stay all round !

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Woche im Haus. Super tolle Lage, sehr netter Kontakt und alles was man braucht. Tolle Anlage des Hauses mit Pool und Grillterasse. Super! Würden jederzeit wiederkommen oder das Haus empfehlen. Wenn ich mir etwas wünschen könnte, wäre es eine neue Kaffeemaschine, aber das ist jammern auf hohem Niveau. Vielen Dank und bis zum nächsten Mal.

Perfect in every way possible. An idyllic get away but close enough to explore the area if you wish. We did a day trip to the Alhambra in Granada, other wise we did not want to leave this amazing holiday home. We will be back. What a STUNNING, BEAUTIFUL get away! The House and the grounds are breathtaking. So many beautiful nooks to sit and chill, absolutly quit, for those who seek privacy, here you have found it! Carmen&Alfonso have been fantastic hosts. We could have easily stayed for weeks. The drive is an easy one, approx 5 minutes from the gorgeous pueblo Frigiliana. The house is equiped with everything one can need, plus the outdoorkitchen by the stunning pool with amazing views got used a lot. A little piece of heaven. Highly recommended. Everything is made with so much love to detail. We will definately be back

We had the most amazing week in this beautiful, quiet house. The inside is just perfect, with everything you could need. The outside space is a tranquil haven which we were happy to spend most of our time in. The pool and outside kitchen are fantastic and the whole area is very private.The house is about a 20-30 minute walk from Frigiliana and the restaurants, so really a car is essential. Nearby Nerja has a great variety of supermarkets and we spent days in Frigiliana, Nerja and Granada.I would absolutely recommend this Andalusian idyll.

Fantastic short stay - book it - you wont regret it!

We had a lovely short stay at this wonderful property.Ahead of our stay we had great communications with Carmen and Alfonso provided great suppot during our stay.The house is lovely and kept immaculately clean. The kitchen has all required appliances and has lots of cutlery, plates, glasses etc etc.Outside there are lots of locations to sit, eat and relax.The pool area is lovely with a large dining table, a fridge, built in BBQ and sun loungers.The location while only a few minutes drive out of town is lovely and quiet with great views over the valley and down to the sea.Overall we had a lovely stay - even the power cut that the whole of Spain experienced was an adventure - it was lovely sitting in the candlelight enjoy a glass of wine!

A wonderfull stay

North of Frigiliana runs the MA5105. Along it are several houses with a view of the Mediterranean Sea. One of these houses is Fuente Santa. A lovely house, fully equipped, with a fantastic view, a covered terrace and below that a terrace by the pool where you can sit in the sun until after 5 pm in December/January. The house has wifi, a television (which we did not use), a wood stove and every room has air conditioning, which both heats and cools.The house is beautifully sheltered, in an area where there is a lot to do. Walking in the mountains to El Fuerte is recommended, for example; the village of Frigiliana is beautiful (touristy, that is). From Frigiliana you can do various walks: to Nerja, through the riverbed, to El Acebuchal and further to Cómpeta. The landlords are extremely hospitable and approachable. In short, a fantastic place and worth it.

Perfect retreat

Haus und Umgebung herrlich!

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt in dem Haus von Carmen und Alfonso. Wir haben das Haus super sauber vorgefunden, hier wird wert aufs Detail gelegt. Das Haus und der große Garten sind mit viel Liebe eingerichtet bzw. gestaltet. Alles ist super gepflegt, also richtig zum Wohlfühlen. Viel Zeit haben wir auf der großen überdachten Terrasse verbracht. Hier schien Ende Oktober morgens ab ca. 09.30 Uhr die Sonne, so dass wir schon morgens draußen frühstücken konnten. Sonne auf dem Grundstück mit den vielen verschiedenen tollen Sitzgelegenheit ist von morgens bis abends. Bei schlechterem Wetter kann man es sich im Haus mit dem Kamin auch sehr gemütlich machen. Die Aussicht vom Haus ist grandios! Nach Ausflügen haben wir uns immer wieder gefreut, zum Haus zurückzukehren. Die direkte Umgebung bietet sich für Ausflüge zum Baden zu verschiedenen Badebuchten oder auch zum Wandern an. Die Kommunikation mit Carmen und Alfonso verlief reibungslos. Wir können das Haus uneingeschränkt weiter empfehlen und kommen gerne wieder!

Tolle kleine finca mit großem Garten

Die finca ist sehr gut ausgestattet ubd hat alles, was man benötigt. Wenn man mit vier Personen reist, muss man nur wissen, dass das Doppelbett max 1,60 m hat und über eine Matratze verfügt. Ansonsten ist alles perfekt und genauso, wie die fewo Anzeige sie darstellt

What an amazing place!

Carmen and Alfonso are really nice people (thank you both!) and the villa is without a doubt, the best holiday home my wife and I have stayed in. Spotlessly clean and really well equipped. A great location only a stones throw from Frigiliana. Close enough to the coast for easy access but far enough away from the hustle and bustle to be really peaceful. We thought we would use the house as a base to explore Andalusia from but it’s such a great place that we spent most of our time there. We will be back!

A hidden gem

A beautiful cortijo/Villa just above the village of Frigiliana. Views of the sea and coast from the well maintained and landscaped gardens with numerous places to sit and relax and take in the views and the smell of the surrounding pine trees. We have stayed in numerous villas over the past twenty years in the Frigiliana area and this is one of the best.

Great secluded Villa, convenient location, with peaceful views

Villa Fuenta Santa was easy to find as you pass through the town of Frigiliana, just a further 5 minutes drive as we made our way up the bends of the hillside. Great communication via WhatsApp with Alfonso before we set off and throughout our stay. Facilities are perfect for two or a small family. Beautifully appointed throughout, equipped and maintained both inside and out. Very clean, comfortable beds. Fragrant jasmine flowers were a lovely touch in the bedroom left by Carmen, also some fresh grapes from the vines by the pool left in the fridge as a nice welcome. The outdoor kitchen and bbq was also good, with a handy fridge for cold drinks and snacks ready instead of walking back up to the Villa. We spent many evenings on the main terrace with a view looking down the valley to the Med. Beautiful and well kept gardens with various fruit (fig) trees, cactus and pines giving great shade and a lovely tropical feel to the setting. The Villa is very secluded up on the hill in a quiet valley, you can take a 5 minute drive back down into the town or walk down, however its a good 25 minute walk to the edge of town or 35/40 minutes to the ‘Plaza de las Tres Culturas’ and then you have a nice selection of bars/restaurants. A footpath has been constructed along the main road near the Villa making it safer to wander down. However the walk back up the hill is a little tasking, douable, but in the day/heat I’d avoid. We managed to walk down on a few evenings, there are local taxis but

Lovely stay at Fuenta Santa

Lovely secluded property, not overlooked and very peaceful. We enjoyed our stay here and very much liked the various outdoor areas which provided shade if needed. Beautiful well kept gardens with various fruit trees, cactus and pines. The cottage itself had a lovely homely feel, very clean and comfortable and well situated near the village of Frigiliana. Great communication with Alfonso and Carmen and check in went very smoothly. All in all, a great stay and we would recommend this property to others. Lovely villa, convenient location, amazing views

The villa was easy to find, with communication via WhatsApp before we set off and on the day we arrived. The villa is in a quiet valley, not remote or isolated, very near Frigiliana and a short drive to Nerja and the most fabulous beaches. The villa itself was perfect. Very clean, well equipped, comfortable beds and lots of fluffy towels. There were even fresh flowers in the bedroom. The kitchen is well equipped with plates, glasses and cooking utensils etc and the outdoor kitchen and bbq were great, there is a fridge which made days by the pool wonderful as we had cold drinks at our fingertips! We made good use of the pool as it was very hot when we were there. The air con in the bedrooms was very very welcome. It made the nights cool and easy to sleep. We spent many evenings on the terrace listening to the cicadas, gazing down the valley to the Med. You can even see the cruise ships away on the horizon. The villa is so pretty, the trees give great shade and a lovely tropical feel to the setting. It was a perfect holiday and we would love to return.

Amazing Stay

We had such a lovely stay at this property - when we arrived we were stunned at how beautiful the home and location are. Communication for check-in was seamless and flexible, we communicated with Alejandro via Whatsapp and this made things nice and easy. The property itself was so beautiful, nice and clean and well equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Both bedrooms and living room had a/c which was a real luxury. The pool area was incredible and a real peaceful haven nestled into the amazing landscape. Really would recommend a stay here!

Fantastic place!

Charming and very clean house surrounded by a large property with great sea view and so many outdoor seating places that we couldn't use them all within our one week's stay... :-) Also the outdoor kitchen (grill) by the pool was very welcomed by us. Everything (inside and outside) is arranged/decorated so tastefully that it's a pleasure to be there. Also the contact with Carmen and Alfonso was very nice. Highly recommendable!
