    Just beyond the dune is the most sought-after beach access on the island. You benefit from a 200-yard buffer between the access and the seasonal 4x4 barrier - without a single house in between. Don't be surprised when there aren't other vacationers competing for your beach spot. You can spread out, relax, and enjoy the white sand and ocean breeze. The south-facing surf is the final destination for the tepid crystal blue waters of the Gulf Stream. You will find the water temperature noticeably warmer than beaches north of the point.

    On the inside, Dreamcatcher is appointed like a home, not a beach house. We have hardwood oak floors throughout. A completely remodeled kitchen with an island, farmhouse sink, and gas range. All new furnishings. And a primary suite with a marble walk-in shower and soaking tub. Fresh linens and towels are always provided.

Beautiful and well-appointed

The home was very clean and well-stocked. The views were wonderful. The nearby airport was barely noticeable, as there was little traffic during our stay in July.

Frisco Stay

We loved the proximity of this home to the beach and the green space to the immediate north of the property. It's rare to have so much green space next a home in the OBX. It provided for such a distinct vibe as compared to most other locations on the island. The house itself was spacious, clean, and well stocked with kitchen appliances and utensils. The living area furniture was upscale and comfortable. The multiple decks and views were fantastic. Wifi was very good in the home. We would definitely recommend this house and plan to return.

Looking for a quiet location with a short walk to a 'no truck' ocean view

We loved the location overlooking private area connected to the Mitchell airstrip that was used several times. The ocean was a short walk away which isn't consumed by vehicles. A quiet place. We happened to be there during the latest tropical depression that brought some rain and flooding. The shared driveway was flooded when we arrived - did a walk thru it to see how deep - 6 to 8 and was about 2 inches high where we parked under the house. The house is solid yet you know when someone is walking about. Icemaker was great, master bed was good, water pressure wonderful. Had to hunt for the broom (beside washer). Lots of dishes, gas stove, fridge was alright. A nice little stay, Alien Coffee and Hatteras Sol - get there as they open. A nice house in a good location. I recommend it. Wish the towel service provided more than a towel a person.
