Glide into your best vacation ever at sound-front Jersey Paddler. The ground level has a carport, an under-house entry, storage, showers, a fish-cleaning table, and easy and safe sound access. This home is perfect for windsurfers and kayakers. On the first level, the first bedroom is waterfront with a private bath. The second bedroom is a main bedroom with a semi-private bath and hall access. The third bedroom has a private bath. Each bedroom has a TV. A large den with an entertainment center featuring a 46-inch TV and DVD player provides access to the decks and hot tub.

Upstairs, the Jersey Paddler blossoms into a large great room with exquisite furnishings, a 55-inch LCD HDTV, a Blu-ray player, and surround sound, plus a stereo with a 5-disk CD changer, a half bath, a gas fireplace, and views of the water, sunsets, and nature. The upscale kitchen, with a prep island and a nearby dining area, allows pass-through access to the screened porch with a picnic table for outdoor seating. The waterfront sundeck is the Jersey Paddler's best seat. Sore from a day on the water? Rest in the fourth bedroom with a private bath, a TV, a Jacuzzi, a sauna, and a steam shower. Smooth sailing is guaranteed at Jersey Paddler.

THINGS TO KNOW
Private pools are open for use from the arrival weekends from April 1 to October 13, 2023.
You will be required to sign an additional lease agreement upon making a booking which will be sent to your email. You will not be able to check-in until we have received your signature electronically. Please contact us directly if you do not receive this agreement.
*The fireplace is available November through March
This property is managed by Vacasa North Carolina LLC.

Guests have access to the Club Hatteras Pool Facility. Additional details around this facility will be shared in your check-in email and during the check-in process. The club is typically open Mid-May to Mid-October, depending on weather.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles.

Dock details: Boats recommended require no more than a 2' draft. Sound waters can be very shallow.




Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

We have rented MANY properties both in the northern section and on Hatteras Island over the past 20+ years and can honestly say this was probably #1 as far as location and having every amenity we could need. The reason for the 'short title' of the review is because we're confused about the way we made this rental through VRBO site, but somehow ended up dealing strictly through Hatteras Realty. The initial on-line reservation process didn't go well for whatever reason, but it eventually got worked out. Just need to understand how to do this more smoothly if we're going to reserve again.

Our Rental was spacious..beautiful..and had anything anyone could ever want or need while on a weeks vacation. We had a 10 month old with us and they had two pack and plays ..gates..other items. However the refrigerator had ketchup smeared on the outside of the doors. Tile floors has sand all over them..the carpet was not vacuumed..we found Gold fish snacks in the den on the carpet. We were short on dishes the entire week so we bought paper goods..when we got ready to leave we opened up the dishwasher to make sure the teenagers had not put what few dishes we had used in it and we found the dishwasher full of dishes that we could have used during our stay...but other than having to clean up the cottage before we could stay our trip and The Jersey Padder was great. Thank you!

Floor plan was great with 4 masters. Great dick and sound access. Beds were very uncomfortable. Awful smell in the upper master bath. We were there when Jose was off shore and the house swayed constantly for 2 days, the motion was severe enough it even woke us up.
