“Really nice, comfortable place. We had a lakeside room and enjoyed watching the ducks and geese cavort on the shore with their ducklings/goslings. Just one night stay after a trip to the UP, but this place is run well. Which with the unavoidable hassles of travel is exactly what you want - no surprises.”

“Hotel was nice, and the location was convenient for walking downtown and gtting in and out using the valet. Mattress was not very firm but comfortable. Calling ahead to get your car out of valet made traveling in and out easier, and we never had to wait for our car. Room was clean, and quiet. Easy to get some rest. Rooftop bar was nice, but more for the newly 21 crowd on Friday and Saturday night. Great beverages though.”

“1st room was not clean, dirty bathroom, sheets and had a strong smell. Requested a new room which was somewhat cleaner”

“Rooms are nothing like what is shown online. Most rooms are dark, damp and unkempt. Carpet felt wet and feet were dirty after walking on the carpet barefoot. I believe owner's or cleaner's kids were yelling and screaming and running up and down the entryways. It's definitely not worth almost $200 nightly. Maybe there are some rooms that are brighter but nothing on the backside of the property. Definitely won't go back.”

“Place was pretty clean, room was spacious and nice. Really good location. But if you stay on the first floor, it’s really noisy from the people upstairs, you can hear every step, plus some people can be really loud… smells like weed in the hallway.”
