“Great quirky pub, restaurant and hotel. Ideal for us on our way to Norwich. Have stayed before, so was looking forward to going back. Delicious food, lovely, comfy beds in fun 'cow' themed rooms. The place is spotlessly clean and the staff are wonderful. Will definitely stay there again, on our next trip to that part of the world.”

“We had such a lovely stay at The Ickworth Hotel. The place itself is beautiful — the grounds are stunning, and the whole property has such a peaceful, relaxing feel. “Room was spacious and nicely decorated, had a great bath and toiletries. The pub was lovely and we found the evening meal delicious. The breakfast was very good also. Location was great 👍 not too far out of Newmarket itself . Easy parking, would definitely recommend. ”

Reception changed our rooms to ground floor on request at arrival, as allocated rooms were not easily accessed, lots of stairs up and down and corridors. Breakfast ok on Saturday but not very hot, tea and coffee machine dispensing very weak and tasteless coffee and tea. Parking good, but quite along waln to reception. ”

Swimming pool was clean, quiet, and relaxing. Bar was great too and again staff were friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again. Restaurant was expensive but the food was amazing.”
