This flat is located in the Ajuda neighbourhood, a prime residential area in the city of Funchal

Set in the iconic América building, it comprises a comfortable bedroom with a double bed and excellent sun exposure. In the living room, equipped with a light and pleasant décor, you'll find a sofa bed, TV and dining table to enjoy after long days exploring the island. Next to the living room, you'll find a fully-equipped kitchen so you can cook your meals in complete tranquillity. It is equipped with an oven, fridge, microwave and induction hob. The flat has a bathroom equipped with a shower.
This property is ideal for families or couples and can accommodate four people (max).
The flat is on the 7th floor of the building, which is equipped with a lift and has a private car park outside.


AREA
This building is located in the Ajuda area, close to one of the island's most popular beaches, Praia Formosa, and one of the island's largest shopping centres, Fórum Madeira. This location is home to a large number of Madeira's hotels and is undoubtedly a busy tourist area. It is close to several essential services, such as pharmacies, a hospital, bars, pastry shops and restaurants. Within a 15-minute walk of the property you can find Praia Formosa, a promenade, a garden, the Lido beaches, the Doca do Cavacas natural swimming pools and the Ponta Gorda bathing complex. If you opt for a longer walk of around 45 minutes, you can walk to the centre of Funchal or to the neighbouring municipality of Câmara de Lobos.

GETTING AROUND
The best option to get to the property will be the transfer. Ask us to book one with our local partners. It is cheaper than the taxis you find at the airport.
If you rent a car, any navigation app can easily find the address.
There are bus stops near the flat.

We are always available to help or answer questions. We do our best to reply all requests. We also have an app for guests with all the important information about the property and other useful information for your stay.

OTHER OBSERVATIONS
- According to Portuguese law, all guests are required to present a valid ID. (passport or identity card).
- Check-in hour must be scheduled in advance. If it is not scheduled within a maximum of 48 hours before, guests will be subject to the availability of our team.
- All bed linen and towels are provided. We can also put a baby cot, a high chair and a baby bath if needed, but you should request. There are a first aid kit, extinguishers and fire blanket in the property.

ATTENTION
Please be advised that a Tourist Fee will be charged to all persons staying overnight in the municipality of Funchal. Thus, all customers staying in tourist resorts and/or accommodation establishments, aged 13 or over, will be charged €2.00 per person/night, up to a maximum of 7 nights and a maximum of €14.00 per person/stay. When you arrive, you will receive a link to pay this municipal tax.
