ADULTS ONLY APARTMENT The beautifully refurnished premium Oceanbreeze Studio Apartment is beautifully furnished and located in a tranquil sea-front Condo with amazing panoramic sea-view, in the heart of the Funchal hotel area. A raised height bed allows you to wake up with that sea-view, and is complemented by a sitting and dining area, kitchen, modern shower-room, and a lovely private balcony with direct panoramic sea-view, perfect to enjoy your breakfast or evening drink. In the immediate surrounding area are all the facilities you can require, including restaurants, cafés and bakeries, bars, and one the of the main shopping centres, the Madeira Forum. Although there is a simple (no services) swimming pool in the Condo, free for guests’ use when available, the great Ponta Gorda Public Lido provides, for a modest fee, a large swimming pool and sea-access, sunbeds and umbrellas, and a snack-bar, and is only 100m away. Even closer is the Funchal Promenade, along which you can enjoy a traffic free sea-front walk all the way to the lovely Lido area and to the picturesque fishing village of Câmara de Lobos. There is limited free parking, subject to availability on a first to arrive basis, and the nearby Forum public car park (paid).

Other Being located on the 5th floor, this apartment is accessible by lift and stairs. Ponta Gorda Public Lido (paid access) with large swimming pool and sea access, snack-bar, 100m away. Condo swimming pool on the ground floor, free for guest’s use, no services. Parking facilities in the Condo, free for guests use, subject to availability on a first to arrive basis. Public parking facilities in the Forum Shopping located only 200 meters from the Apartment. Public transport is plentiful. The bus stop is by the Forum Madeira shopping centre, and opposite are bus stops for all bus routes to other areas of Madeira. Taxis are very reasonable, and the nearest rank is only 500 m away. Nearby The Apartment is located in the hotel area of Ajuda and is within easy access of many facilities. There is an enormous selection of restaurants, cafés, bakeries, pharmacies, and even a large shopping centre within easy walking distance. There is a mini market in the building where you can buy basic items. The Forum Madeira Shopping centre with many shops and a large, branded supermarket is only 450 m away. The sea front promenade is only 30m from the apartment block and provides a traffic free broad-walk by the sea to the Lido area in the East and to the village of Câmara de Lobos in the West.
Cleaning The apartment is prepared for you with linen, bath and pool towels. Cleaning and linen change is provided every 7 days for reservations of more than one week.
Booking Notes The advertised prices are based on a 2-person occupancy. To secure your reservation we require a non-refundable deposit or the full amount if the reservation is made within 8 weeks prior to arrival. The balance is due 8 weeks prior to your arrival. A security deposit of 150€ is required on arrival, payable by credit card before arrival The minimum stay is 05 nights. Final details for check-in and driving instructions will be sent 7 days before your arrival. The entrance code will be sent 2 days before your arrival.
This property is a self check-in unit and check-in time is 16:00 or after. A code will be provided for access to the property. Check-in and check-out flexibility will be applied where possible, but this will depend on housekeeping schedules and the departure and arrival days of other reservations either side of your stay; a definitive answer can only be provided within 24 hours of your arrival for check-in and your departure for check-out. It’s always confirmed on a request basis.
The payment of a Tourist Tax has been implemented for all arriving visitors on or after 01 October 2024 across all of Madeira and Porto Santo by the local Municipalities. This applies to all visitors to Madeira aged 13 or over, and costs 2€ per person per day up to a maximum of 14€ per person. Your accommodation is responsible for collecting these amounts and paying them on your behalf to the applicable municipality.

DRIVING INSTRUCTIONS
If you have a car and are driving to your villa or apartment, please follow these instructions. Using GPS will take you via old and less easy roads and unusual locations: Leaving the airport take the dual carriageway in the direction of Funchal (road known as the Via Rápida). Leave the Via Rápida at exit number 8 Signposted S. Martinho, P. dos Barcelos Est.Monumental.
On the roundabout take the second exit signposted Hospital Particular da Madeira Zona Balnear. Drive for another 400m and you will reach another roundabout and take the first exit signposted Est. Monumental.
On the roundabout take the second exit to your right that will lead you to another roundabout.
On this roundabout take again the second exit and drive for approximately 1km until you reach a junction.
On this junction turn right and you will drive down towards Apartamentos do Mar, turn again to your right and drive for approximately 100m. You will reach your final destination.

Please note that there is a car park available for the guests at the apartments and most times you will find availability here, note that this is subject to availability and if you don’t a spot in this parking area we kindly ask you to park your car in Tecnoparque. In order to use Oceanbreeze car park you must go first to the apartment and collect the keycard to access the parking area which is on top on the kitchen table along with the welcome letter and information books.
