Hotel vicino a Furness Abbey - Barrow in Furness

“Overall the stay was fine, nothing alarming. Hotel looked really nice as we entered. However, the quality and standard of rooms were below expectations of a high reviewed/ star hotel. One example being the bathroom, shower heads were not consistent in the water pressure and so caused a lot of spraying all across. “Simple, spacious, quiet, and comfortable. A bit worn in places (furniture, ceiling), bed a little sagging, kettle a bit grotty, and water pressure inconsistent, but all in all fine. Close to numerous supermarkets and walking trails and next to the worthwhile Dock Museum. ”

“Beautiful location, lovely breakfasting room and public interiors. Very tasteful. Very good outside areas too even though the actual outside area was quite compact . It worked. The room was tastefully done and quiet, however the ensuite was rather small, beside the fields. Lots of wildlife. The only point I would make is that the dustbin lorry stopped then went right past my window at 6am. as did an early delivery. Luckily I was already awake . Breakfast was lovely.
