“Mir gefallen besonders der herzliche Umgang, die entspannte Athmosphäre und die wohlig eingerichteten Zimmer. Zudem ist das Essen einfach top! Grosses Plus: sollte wider Erwarten mal etwas nicht passen, wird sofort und unkompliziert eine grosszügige Lösung angeboten. ”
“This hotel is outside the city of Lucerne but only 20 minutes away. It is nice and peaceful, which was our preference. The Mt. Pilatus train station in Alpnachstadt is just a few minutes away. We got to enjoy both sunset and sunrise from our balcony.
The staff were friendly and professional and the room was clean and uniquely charming but with modern conveniences. The restaurant served excellent local favorite dishes.
We look forward to another stay in the coming years.

Un appunto sul servizio, che per un albergo di questo tipo dovrebbe essere un po' più attento a questi dettagli: non era indicato che fosse raggiungibile solo in funicolare, all'arrivo abbiamo dovuto chiedere noi il servizio per portare le valigie in camera e al ritorno abbiamo dovuto scoprire noi per caso che era disponibile un servizio di navetta dall'albergo alla funicolare.”

“Vista stupenda sul lago dei Quattro Cantoni (parte sud, molto scenografica). Staff molto accogliente. Camera confortevole. Colazione ottima. Parcheggio comodo. Piuttosto caro rispetto a strutture analoghe, ma è così in tutta la Svizzera. ”

“the rooms was very small, without air conditioned (with outside temperature of 32°C we missed it), and a very small bathroom (no space for the sink, which was located near the beds!). the room was on the first floor right above the main street, and although the village is quite, the traffic (motorbikes) woke us up at 7. nice small terrace with lake view. breakfast at the restaurant in a nice position near the lake. we also had dinner there, not bad, but very expensive and far from Italian...

“I had great expectations for this stay since I’ve been to Wengen several times and I looked forward to stay at this hotel, that I value as the best there.
It was a short stay to ski, so I arrived and I departed late. The reception closes at 16.00 so I found my room key waiting for me with a nice note and that’s it. After 16.00 there’s also no service to and from the station: a minor issue.
I felt really unwelcome without a human contact with the reception: I can understand that at a “cheap”...
“An incredibly charming, and a well maintained historic hotel. Staff was really nice, and the breakfast (with that view) was something I looked forward to everyday. Also its location is ideal; it's right next to the Riggi train, the ferry stop and the bus stop. How perfect is that?! Got the most stunning pictures right from my room's shared balcony, morning, evening and even nighttime! Easy access to pretty much all tourist hotspots all around Lake Lucerne and other places.

Hotel molto bello, con una visuale fantastica dalla stanza direttamente sul lago.
La stanza non è grandissima, ma pulita ed elegante: il bagno è piccolo, ma pulito.
