Lanier Cove House - Waterfront Lakehouse with Dock on private cove!

This charming home on Lake Lanier is ideal for those looking to relax and unwind! Spend your days boating, swimming in a secluded cove, fishing, reading, making s’mores and enjoying lakeside fun. The home has a private dock with direct lake access and is just five minutes by boat to Gainesville Marina. The house is fully stocked and features high-speed wifi, smart tv, popular board games, wood-burning fireplace, and back deck dining with gas grill. Or enjoy an outdoor fire under the lights!

The home boasts a Master bedroom with ensuite bathroom and deck access on the main floor. Two additional bedrooms share another full bath on the main floor, one of the bedroom connects to arguably the lakes best office view with high speed wifi. This room also includes a sitting area with full size sleeper sofa. The Basement has a full bath, a bunk room consisting of four twin beds and a recreation area that has a queen sofa sleeper. A pack and play is also available. The house has brand new floors on main level in 2020. There is a Full kitchen with stove, microwave, dishwasher and typical amenities for cooking. There is a Breakfast bar and ample dining area to prepare a feast. Enjoy a family BBQ with the gas grill and outdoor seating on the back deck. There is a wood burning fireplace on the main level and plenty of board games to make some fun family memories. You can roast marshmallows or make smores on the outdoor fire pit. We also provide complementary starter supplies for your first 24 hours which includes: toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, dish soap, dishwasher tabs, and hand soap. Although this property is a new on VRBO we are seasoned hosts with over 200 five star reviews at other properties.

If you would like to enjoy boating adventures during your stay, you can either bring your own boat or you can rent a boat at Paradise rental boats which is located at Port Royale Marina in Gainesville. We are only two blocks away from Robinson Park where there is a public boat launch and plenty of free parking. You can keep your boat or watercraft at the dock. It is the only dock in the cove so you will have complete privacy. There is a steep driveway to the house and newly constructed steps down to the water. If you have trouble climbing stairs then this is probably not the best spot for you.

Downtown Gainesville is about 10-15 minutes away from the house with restaurants and shopping should you tire of the nature :)

Other things to note: There is a fireplace and firepit for your use. There may be supplies on hand but it is recommended to bring along any wood, fire starters, etc if you intend to use either. You can also find Smart TV's, games, puzzles and children's books for your rainy day entertainment.

Among other fun recreational items you will find our a foosball table, and an outdoor cornhole game. There are also two kayaks and multiple floaty‘s for your enjoyment. Please ensure that you are always using appropriate flotation devices for everyone in your group when you are in and around the water.
