“Poor service: I booked this room for my 76 yr-old father who was traveling from BC, Canada. (Nov 14, 2022) When he arrived on the property, he asked the manager/owner for use of the bathroom (after his 6-hr car ride) before checking-in. This manager yelled at him to go to some bathroom outside. He was painfully rude and demeaning. “This is a lovely hotel with a great rooftop bar and restaurant on the ground floor. The food offering could be better with attention paid to details (eg local jams etc at breakfast not generic plastic packets). All the staff are lovely though the front desk were slow and we had some problems with miscommunication over booked transport but they sorted it in the end!”
