Cottage a Galena

“Everyone was very nice and helpful. The diner was excellent. The property was old but maintained okay. The best part was how helpful the staff was. We got there early and they let us check in. There was a microwave and fridge but no closet and nowhere to hang clothes. The room was clean, the price was good. We would stay there again.”

“Room was fine, but small and cramped. Bed not so comfy. Soundproofing doesn’t exist…could hear everything. Couldn’t get TV to work. Other than those details, room was clean and location was good.”

“This is a great place, to feel comfortable. Exactly as advertised Just around the corner from Schaeffers.”

“This property is delightful. It's very "beachy" and relaxing. There are lots of thoughtful amenities which made our stay smooth. The only thing I would mention is that the property is reached by a set of six stair steps, even though strictly speaking it is on the first floor of the house. That wasn't a problem for us. Other than that, we can highly recommend it. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. (My husband wants me to mention that he loved the bed and slept very well.)”

“Cool spot by a marina. House felt clean and good beds.”

“We absolutely loved staying at the Beachcomber Suite. Tucked away off the main road, with a massive screened porch to enjoy the country side and gardens. It was cosy, clean, well appointed. The shower was amazing. We had a multi-course dinner at Sassafras on the water which was right up the road, 3 minutes away on the water front. I got a text from Jane and Dennis that evening if I wanted fresh bagels in the morning. Well, of course I do! They were warm multi seed and fantastic start to...

“The area felt safe, the front desk guy was very kind. The room wasn’t in amazing condition but wasn’t terrible”

“One of the beds was hard but besides that it was good.”

“Robert and Elizabeth were great hosts. They are very communicative and flexible. The house itself is lovely, with nicely decorated rooms and so spacious! The location can’t be beat. Will definitely stay here again.”

“The Elkton Lodge is a gem of a small, locally owned hotel right off I-95. Clean rooms, convenient location, friendly and helpful staff. And much more reasonable than the budget and chain hotels nearby. I asked for a late check-out and they were very accomodating. I had a great stay at Elkton Inn and highly recommend.”

“Spent over 1k this month only for cold water and only offered two free nights”
