Vacanze Galgamuwa

Great place to stay. Very clean staff were great. Only negative was that wifi was out for our 2 night stay. Great breakfast and pool was very nice. A wee bit out of the way, no shops or restaurants nearby, but very quiet and relaxing.

Beautiful, self contained accommodation in Galle Fort that provided a nice home away from home. We stayed here for 2 nights 26-27 Dec). Nicely tucked away near the entrance of the fort and behind the main streets so away from most of the hustle and noise, though still central to the main Fort attractions. It was nice to come back here after walking around the busy streets and exploring, and a luxury having so much space, two bedrooms especially, and the washing machine/dryer. Service from Gihan was also wonderful and a good introduction to the wonderful people in Sri Lanka. Clean and comfortable, spacious and very convenient.

The property was clean and convenient. The staff were helpful when requested. However, maintenance work has to be carried out in the apartment. The shower and the sink in the bathroom got flooded when used. The stove and the washing machine were malfunctioning. And the room was not cleaned during the period, though the terms and conditions state that it would be cleaned after the 5th day.

We had a wonderful 2-night stay at this property; the staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. From the exiting hustle of the fort, the quiet and calmness of the property is just what is needed.
