“We had a lovely stay here, nice breakfast included, 5 minute drive from Hope and easy access to lots of walking routes.”

“Location was excellent for walks, Castleton centre, pubs & restaurants. The cottage is very small but fine for two people & a dog. The log burner is great but no wood or matches are provided. The little kitchen area has everything you need although there isn’t any space for prepping food. The stairs are very steep. The bed is extremely comfortable & we slept really well. “We had a wonderful stay, the staff were very welcoming, the room comfortable and well appointed, even down to a dog bowl being available. The breakfast bag was very welcome, as well as a coffee machine for the morning. We'll hopefully be back sometime!”

“The Loft was a lovely property in a beautiful location. The place was clean and comfortable. It had a lovely shower and all amenities for cooking if needed. The owner was friendly and approachable. Convenient location for a walk down to the pub or for driving further afield. We would definitely stay again and recommend to others.”

“Loved this place. The setting is beautiful as was our room. A real mixture of old and new that worked perfectly. The staff were really friendly and attentive and we truly felt welcome. We opted for the pie for dinner and I can honestly say, it was the best pie I have ever eaten. The pastry was amazing and it was filled to the max with the ham and leek. “Our stay was a journey down memory lane for me. The hotel was still lovely and popular, the room was clean and albeit small as a twin, it was in keeping with such a historic building and the lady on the bar, who checked us in couldn’t be more welcoming. The kitchen even catered amazingly for a veggie and a vegan option breakfast. The hotel is centrally located for the beautiful village of Eyam’s history trail, tea rooms and local walks with good parking facilities. ”
