“The Lion Inn was a last minute booking but it did not disappoint. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The food was served hot. The breakfast was cooked to order and was a great welsh breakfast. The rooms were cosy but with a boutique hotel theme. Public areas were clean there was parking available with tables outside. “We were “welcomed” by a waitress whose attitude ranged somewhere between laziness and open disdain. When we asked if we could have dinner, she said she could ask if there was a table available, and in the meantime we could sit at one of the bar tables. We politely agreed.
