Shimmer Shack was wonderful. It is well appointed and had everything we needed. The beds are comfortable and kitchen well stocked. It was a wonderful place for our work retreat. Thanks for the great stay!

The property has an amazing view. Easy check in and love all the details and cleanest of this home. The pictures do not to justice! Love the fast communication from the host. Very helpful and informative. Our family loved this home. We will definitely come back.

When I was looking for a place, I looked at this property several times, but I could not tell from the pictures how big it actually was and this place was gigantic. I think that we ended up staying with about 18 people, and there was so much room for all of us and things for people to do of all ages. There was a projector outside with the hot tub, which was super fun along with video games ping-pong all of the TVs worked air-conditioning was great. Everything worked perfectly plus the amenities were outstanding. There was not one item that I was wishing I had that I didn’t have including an amazing pizza cutter that who thinks of this stuff if you’re considering a family place to stay, I would highly recommend and the people were so easy to communicate with Checking in and out making sure we had everything that we needed 10 out of 10 !!

The best place for a family trip

This place has it all! I do mean everything! From first impressions of a curated and decorator quality furnishings to an organized kitchen to a hot tub movie theater. If you have a family reunion, this is the place to stay! There were more than enough beds for my whole group and if we didn’t go to the private beach access (which was awesome), then there was more than enough fun things to do just inside with ping pong, video games and board games. It entertained kids as young as 9 and as old as 80. It smelled and looked great as soon as we walked in. The kitchen had just about every appliance you could need including an instapot and crockpot. It had tons of plates, bowls, cups, and silverware. The bathrooms were well stocked with the showers all having shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. There is even two laundry rooms. In essence, you can’t go wrong with this place
