The Perfect Bear Lake Basecamp for Family Reunions

Bear Essentials is a brand-new 5-bedroom, 5-bathroom home built for families who want space, entertainment, and easy access to everything Bear Lake offers. Located on the Sweetwater Golf Course with year-round access, this 3,400 sq ft retreat sleeps 14 and keeps everyone—from grandparents to grandkids—happy under one roof.

Built for Togetherness
Gather the crew in the open main level with a fully equipped kitchen, large dining area, and comfortable living space. When the cousins need to burn off energy, head downstairs to the dedicated game room featuring a pool table and ping pong table. End the day unwinding in the private hot tub with gorgeous views.

Your Gateway to Bear Lake Adventures
Your stay includes access to Ideal Beach, where your group can spend the day at the pool, play pickleball or tennis, and enjoy sandy beach time on Bear Lake. You're just minutes from the Bear Lake State Park marina for boat launching, plus convenient jetski, kayak, and paddleboard rentals nearby.
Winter visitors will find snowmobiling, ice fishing, and cozy evenings by the fire just as memorable.

Five bedrooms with five full bathrooms means no morning bathroom battles. Two king suites on the main level are ideal for parents or grandparents, while the lower level offers a queen room, another queen room, and a bunk room with four twin beds (perfect for the kids). Met our needs

It was a great 3 day get away for us, grandkids & their parents (11 total). Having a bathroom for all 5 bedrooms was definitely a plus. It's not the largest of houses to rent but the layout was very functional and met all our needs. Having access to Ideal Beach/Sweetwater was great for activities and access to the lake. We would rent again.

Beautiful house

This house was just the right size for my family of 12. Some of the information on it say that there are 6 bedrooms, some say 5....there are only 5, and each has a bathroom. That was really nice. We weren't sure, from the listing, whether the garage was available, but we were able to store some things in it, it just didnt lick

Great stay with 3 families

We had a great long weekend stay here with 3 families of 4. We all fit comfortably and the kids the bunk beds. We had a minor issue finding coffee mugs in the house but the owners went above and beyond and brought us disposable hot coffee cups that night. Everyone enjoyed the stay and we would return!

The house was perfect! We loved that they had access to ideal beach resort but didn’t have to stay there. It was nice to go back to the peace and quiet the home offered! Julie was the best too. Quickly responded to any questions or concerns we had. The house was clean, and perfect for our family! We loved every minute!
