The Cisco Yurt - Rustic. Modern. Spectacular. Sleeps 12.
The Cisco is open year round! Come enjoy a wintery getaway to Bear Lake like none other!!
Nestled on a slope overlooking Bear Lake, on the south end of Garden City, UT, just minutes from the shores of Bear Lake, the Cisco Yurt offers a 1450-foot haven of rustic elegance for your epic getaway. This spacious, circular retreat sleeps up to 12 adventurers with a king bed, a queen bed, a full-size bunk in each bedroom, and a cozy full bed in the loft, all draped in fresh linens for ultimate comfort after a day of lake-fueled thrills or winter escapades. Whip up some gourmet mountain magic in the fully equipped kitchen, boasting an electric range, fridge, microwave, and all the utensils you'll need for lakeside feasts—think fresh trout tacos or s'mores under the stars. Outside, fire up the fire cauldron for storytelling sessions, or hit the trails for paddle boarding on Bear Lake's glassy waters, exploring the eerie depths of Minnetonka Cave, or conquering the winding paths of Logan Canyon.
To celebrate the rich fishery of Bear Lake, the Cisco Yurt is decorated with fun fish facts and fish-inspired décor. The yurt offers guests a chance to learn more about the lake’s unique species, particularly the Bonneville Cisco, while surrounded by the natural beauty of the area. Whether you’re an avid fisherman or simply curious about the lake’s ecosystem, the Cisco Yurt provides an immersive experience that highlights Bear Lake’s importance as a haven for both aquatic life and outdoor enthusiasts.
Visiting Bear Lake isn’t just about enjoying its scenic views—it’s also about appreciating the intricate ecosystems that thrive beneath the surface. The Cisco and other endemic species are a testament to the lake’s unique natural history, adding to the wonder of this remarkable destination.
