“Room was fine, tea and coffee wasn't very nice and no complementary biscuits. No magnifying mirror in the bathroom. States Brompton however 8 miles away. Bed was really uncomfortable. Evening meal was nice, 10% surcharge on you bill! Wine expenses! Breakfast was so so. Waited a long time for someone to come to the checkin fest on arrival and departure. Probably would try an alternative hotel ”

“There is a reason this is a three star hotel. Despite some pleasant room decor and very helpful staff there are many things that let it down. Exterior is shoddy, rooms look over a busy road or a busy courtyard- both are noisy when windows are open in warm weather. Menu disappointing and limited - there was literally nothing that enticed me. There was also a lack of choice for vegan or even veggie options. “We had such a lovely stay at Langley Castle Hotel. The staff were genuinely warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived and made the whole experience feel really special.
We stayed in the Percy Room, which was full of charm and character while still being very comfortable. Staying in an actual castle was such a unique experience. We also loved walking the nearby trails and grounds — it was peaceful and beautiful, especially in the evening.
Dinner at the hotel was excellent, with great food...
