Hotel a Garyville

“Hotel was very clean, updated, and well-kept. I arrived very late in the evening so I had little contact with the staff and zero experience with the amenities. The room was spacious and smelled very nice. The achilles heel of the experience was the bed. Though seemingly newer, this bed was noisy and extremely uncomfortable. The mattress felt hard and lumpy. “This is a lovely plantation if you are looking for a real experience. We loved it and will come back again. The stay was comfortable and the meals were great. It’s feels very down home not five star but an authentic experience.”

Took a shower and was standing in ankle deep water. The ENTIRE room smelled like mold/mildew. The people on the other side of my room were loud as I don’t know what. “the property was modern and up to date - I reserved a Suite and I wish the TV was in the area where the sofa is instead where the bed are... but over all it was okay. What I didn't care for was the breakfast. They had a pancake machine but no mix to use to make pancakes. Maybe Holiday Inn could get some real eggs, our sausage was dried out on the first morning. Get more options for breakfast. The staff was amazing. The pool was clean.”

“I totally expected more! The room was ok as in it wasn’t dirty but not updated at all! I went to the swimming pool and there were 2 different parties smoking weed which really put a bad taste to me cause they were doing it with children present. The breakfast they gave us tickets for Mike Anderson’s restaurant so I was thinking it would have been a quality meal but the best thing of the breakfast was the bacon and honestly it’s pretty hard to mess that up!”
