“This is a beautiful historic property, and the staff is very welcoming and attentive to your needs. The atmosphere and charm of the place made for an excellent stay. I did notice one area where the stairs had a significant amount of duct tape that could use some attention. If I could offer one suggestion to the owners, it would be to update or remove the old, outdated, and somewhat dingy artificial flowers, as they take away from the beauty of the historic setting. “AC was not working. Called the front desk about the problem, and he asks me to wait 10 minutes. After waiting, I walked up to the front desk to complain and he informs that the room was not occupied for a while so the AC would take some time to get started and asks to wait 10 more minutes, which I do.
