We loved the location of the Cuddle Inn—peaceful, convenient, and close to all that Gatlinburg offers. Check-in and check-out were simple and smooth, which we really appreciated. The jacuzzi tub and outdoor hot tub were both great features we enjoyed during our stay. However, the cabin could use some attention. It wasn’t as clean as expected—there were spider webs in several areas, the floors weren’t clean, and some dishes had been put away dirty. The carpet had worn spots, and the comforter had a small tear. An extra pillow was in the closet, but no pillowcase was provided. The ceiling fan turned on and off randomly, and a few lights didn’t work. The shower looked recently updated and was very nice, but the bathroom needs a paint job and a towel hook. The shower curtain had some mildew. The kitchen had a standard coffee maker (not pod-style), but no coffee was provided. Ice was from trays, and while there was an ironing board, there was no iron. We were only given one small bar of soap for two adults for the entire week, and there was no washer/dryer.As a former short-term rental owner, I see great potential here, but more care and maintenance are needed to improve the guest experience.
