By the pictures this property looks fitting for 4 families of two, however, when arriving to the house every room in the house was smaller than advertised. There was what appears to be mold/water damage in on of the downstairs rooms. I was charged my security deposit, they sent it back, and then tried to withdraw it again for no reason. We left the place exactly how we found it. Parking was a nightmare there are numerous houses around you and if you all drive SUVs it makes it extremely hard to not be in the way. Not worth the money that was paid.

Female Family Fun

My sisters, sister-in-laws, daughter and niece all stayed at this great cabin. All were very pleased with the accommodations. There was parking for our 4 vehicles. The main floor deck was great for gathering and enjoying the beautiful view and the bears that visited below. It is relatively close to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. The mountain roads are interesting. Very nice kitchen set up. There was hot water for all our many showers:). The refrigerator is roomy and the ice maker was great! The pool table got used for the cabin was clean ad fun times. We didn't try out the hot tubs. The cabin was exactly what we needed for our visit to the park and surrounding towns.

Great location and view!

We enjoyed staying here. You are in the mountains with a great view, but also can quickly be in the city of Gatlinburg. Great set up for us and 3 adult children.

Family get together

Overall good . Loved the fireplace. Bed comfy. Location great. Cook wear could have been cleaner. Our 37 yr old down syndrome child needs a bathtub and it was very dirty.

Lovely place. I would have given a 5 star, but the bedroom TV’s did not work. The host was very nice over the phone trying to help but the problem was never resolved. One of our guests had just had a hip replacement and spent a lot of time in the bedroom. It would have been nice for her to have a tv in her room as advertised.

Had a great time here with old friends 60-70. The 5 bedrooms with bathrooms were perfect for our 4 1/2 couples. Pool table, hot tubs and view from the deck were a plus and the parking and house were easy to get in and out of. I recommend this place and hope to be back!

Fun family trip!

First off Kate was a great host! She was very accommodating to our needs before and during the trip! If you are looking for a great view of the mountains and to see more bears then you can keep up with this is definitely the right location!! Be prepared to see all the bears and to white knuckle your way up and down the mountain! The only reason I did not give this a 5 star was because being dog friendly there really was no where for the dogs to go to the bathroom. We had to walk down the road every time. Which isn’t a big deal we are a very active family. It’s just like I said the bears are everywhere. If I could I would say 4.8 stars out of 5. I would reccomend this cabin to my family and friends just probably will leave the dogs behind next time! I’m eager to be hosted by Kate in one of her beach locations one day!

Great weekend

The welcoming committee was a young best that snuck up on us, with in about 3 foot,as we were unloading the car. We were able to scare him off safely. In total we saw about 7 to 8 bears, one being a momma and her cub. The cabin was beautiful and was perfect for the group we had. We enjoyed sitting out on the becks looking for bears, lol. Thank you for a wonderful stay. PS, we had a hard rain Saturday morning and we noticed that the sky light in the kitchen, closest to the oven has a small drip. Just wanted to let you know before it got worse.

Bears!

House was clean. We saw 6 bears over our 5 day stay including one trying to get into the back of our SUV - with people in the driveway - as we loaded to head home. Reminder to be aware of your surroundings. Home was as advertised. Recommend.

Nice little get away

Our family travels to Pigeon Forge area every year. We booked this one last minute as our previously booked cabin fell through. Rental agency was great to work with. Cabin was clean and decently stocked with our needs. Beds were comfy, outside space was decent. It was a little smaller on the common area than I expected but worked out okay for 4 adults, a toddler and a medium size dog. I wouldn't recommend this if you have a dog as there are no flat grassy areas nearby for taking them out. This cabin is directly under the sky tram for Ober but wasn't distributive to us even when outside. View is okay but mostly obscured by trees. About 20 min drive to Gatlinburg down town/Pigeon Forge strip. For mountains roads not too bad to drive. Would stay here again

Great Location

Great location in Gatlinburg, beautiful views, loved all the balconies for outdoor dining, relaxing in easy chairs and outdoor firepit area added another area for enjoying family before dinner.

Spacious cabin with nice accommodations and views

This cabin was the perfect place for 7 guests. Plenty of room to spread out in different areas of the home. The pool table and hot tub were a hit. The 2 decks provided great views. A mama bear and her 3 cubs like to visit the area so definitely DO NOT leave any food in or around your vehicle for any length of time. The cabin was clean and had all the essentials we needed. I highly recommend this place as the 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms allowed us to not be crowded. The beds were super comfortable and the availability of the washer and dryer allowed for us to do our laundry without leaving the premises. We did not have time during our stay to visit the community pool area, but it was nice to know we had access to it had we had the time.

Family vacation

There were 9 of us and 2 small dogs. The road up to the cabin is a little challenging but all blacktop so it was doable. We saw bears almost everyday, including a bear with 3 cubs. The cabin was not too far from the attractions, which was nice. I would stay there again!

Great time in the Smokeys

This property was exactly as advertised. Zero problems, great view and amnities The pool table was great to have as well as the dual jacuzzi’s. Two things to point out: 1) if you want to venture into the national park, the location is perfect. If you want to spend time in Pigeon Forge, you will have to go through some traffic to get there. 2) the property is pretty far up the mountain, makes for awesome views, but curvy roads (some driveways in the area are very tight, not this one, plenty of room).

Happy New Year's 2023!!

Great stay with great family and friends. House was everything we expected and needed. We have rented everything from floating houses, houseboats to chalets and I will say this kitchen was a little small for many cooks but was outfitted with dinnerware, glasses, pots and pans the BEST ever!!
