Perfect cabin!

I was a little nervous about renting this cabin because of the reviews about cleanliness. I am a housekeeping manager so I inspect cabins daily. As I went into this cabin it felt clean immediately. Two of the others that went with me also work for me as housekeepers so we all went through checking the cabin. Mainly because the other reviews on here were so bad. Everything was in tip top shape. Beds were clean, no hairs in the showers or sinks, no dirty dishes, no bugs anywhere and minimal dust. Every room was very nice and clean. The game room was perfect for the kids as well as the adults. The staff was very helpful and easy to get ahold of. The location was perfect with beautiful views and close to downtown. We would all definitely book again!

No happy

The hot tub outside was nasty, low in water and didn work couple of the tv’s downstairs didn work I called in a work order maintenance came out Saturday we left that morning and came back later that evening and the hot tub was on but water was still cold the water didn get hot until Sunday morning and that was when had too check out i want a credit putting back on my card because it wasn’t a pleasant stay…..

Tubs where dirty. Furniture was really old! But overall great cabin. But definitely wants to do better on the cleaniness.

Great family vacation

Positives: Check in was very easy. Cabin was in a perfect location. Easy to find. Beautiful views. Layout was perfect for 12 people. Game room was awesome and fun. Hot tub was very nice. Negatives: cabin is extremely dirty, very few towels, only provides the bare minimum, bedroom sheets were filthy with hair, no cleaning supplies, no broom or vacuum so we could clean. Showers need to be updated. Many lights were burnt out, mattresses on the beds were horrible, no extra linens so we change them. The sofa sleeper was broken and we couldn't use it which they did let us know before we arrived so we brought an air mattress. Also, we found a cochroach in the upstairs bathroom. If all the negatives were fixed this place would be amazing and I would definitely go back. Just needs a deep cleaning. 8 out of 12 in our group developed sinus infection from the dust. I hope they fix this on going issue because it's a beautiful cabin.

Stay here if you want CANCER & HEADACHES

We have stayed IN GATLINBURG almost every year so we do have a lot to compare and by far this property is the worst and total nightmare! Upon entering the entire place smells of urine. And immediately we noticed Several cockroaches. Some dead. Some alive and scattered. Place was not cleaned. Spider webs are in many places. They didnt even sweep the floors! This property is old. Furniture is old and beaten up. Fixtures are broken, sink faucet is loose, bedposts not even fastened onto the bedframe, tvs older than 10 yrs and covered in dust that is just as old! There entire place is covered in dust. Bed sheets are not cleaned .... found pubic hair under the top cover and sheet, doesnt smell fresh, smells old, blinds do not even close all the way, and they dont even have hangers in the closet! Bathrooms do not have soap, nor any starter toiletries. We also noticed mold under the sinks, bathroom shower slides missing, cracks inside the shower tubs, this list is too long. And it gets worse! Kitchen has nothing available. In terms of spices, oils, basics. Not even 1 roll of paper towel. No napkins. Nothing! Cracked and chipped dishware. Faucet is loose and had food on it and they didnt clean it. Silverware had food on them. And get this....this is the straw that brakes the camels back. Pots and pan and all scratched up (none are stainless) all cancer causing pots and pans that is scratched and oozing with forever chemicals that are toxic and dangerous for human use. Even if this place was free i wouldnt stay here. I had to clean the place prior to my son coming into the cabin....he has severe allergy to dust and this place was filthy. This place was on the higher end in terms of price....but seems like rats probably live here. Please be careful, this place is toxic and may cause cancer if you use the kitchenware. Or at the minimum you would probably develop allergies from all the dust and mold and perhaps develop skin rash sleeping on other peoples pubic hair or sleeping w roaches. And the follow up is HORRIBLE. I emailed hosts not 1 hour after i cleaned up the place. And they have not even contacted me. After several emails and calls. They just had housekeeping drop off towels, soup, and sheets in a large garbage bag. That's it. I wouldn't stay here if they paid me. My son developed allergies and had a miserable time. Horrible!

This property is in a very nice area. Crowded, but nice. This property was extremely dirty. Food everywhere on the floors (all three floors). It has not been vacuumed for a long time, floors have not been washed in a very long time and dishes were put away dirty. There were cockroaches on two floors. The house is not fully stocked for cooking or bathing. They only provide towels and not any wash cloths. The ice tray was broken and cracked, but yet they still used it and water is all over the freezer (which is now ice all over). Trash on the outside by the front door and upstairs under the pull out bed.

Fall vacation

The housekeepers are not up to par. There were cigarette butts on all balconies and on front of property. Not enough wash rags even for 6 people.; there should be enough for how many the cabin sleeps. The dishwasher did not work and there were no pot holders. Location was great the cleanliness was the worst part of the cabin. The game room was great and the view was great. Some bedroom doors did not close which was inconvenient. Overall is was a great stay.

Second Time Around

For the most part the property was clean and ready when we arrived. 1st floor shower needs a makeover. It was very difficult to find initially - we arrived after dark which didn’t help at all. The check in process was very easy and when we had an issues with 2 of the bedroom tv’s it was fixed right away. The kids were disappointed that the pool hours were not posted anywhere and it never seemed open but we wouldn’t have spent much time there anyways. However, they LOVED the game floor/bedroom which became known as the “boy cave”. The views of the mountains were amazing. I would definitely rent this cabin again.

Great location

We booked my family this cabin for their Christmas gift. It was the perfect cabin to fit all 14 of us. We loved the set up, the kids loved the “game room” the only thing we would change is the couches, two of the couches are broken and it felt like i was sitting in the floor. Also we couldn’t check in until after 5pm because they were still cleaning. That was a little frustrating because we all were extremely tired and ready to relax from the long drive. Other than that it was a great stay. My family really enjoyed themselves. Thank you
