Valentines View: Majestic Lodge with Awe-Inspiring Views

This lovely 5 bedroom cabin is located only 4 miles from the Gatlinburg city limit and just minutes from downtown, allowing you to stay in the action with local restaurants and attractions. The main house features 2 levels. Downstairs is the master bedroom, featuring a king bed, a flat screen TV, and an in-room jacuzzi. There are 3 bedrooms upstairs with full baths. The cabin also features a wood burning fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen, a charcoal grill, and a washer and dryer. A separate building houses a pool table and another separate bedroom with a full bath. Outside is a pavillian with a hot tub and outdoor fireplace. Valentines View has a multitude of amenities, making it the perfect mountain getaway. It can accommodate up to 17 people and works well for large groups such as family reunions or weddings. This cabin is pet friendly for a pet no larger than 50lbs and a $50 non-refundable pet fee. Indoor fireplace in operation Oct thru March

Great stay with a few downfalls

The property location was great and easy to find. We loved the set up with the decks and game house. There were a couple of downfalls; we felt the kitchen could have been more stocked with supplies, there were swarms of carpenter bees surrounding the property so it seems the house needs some sort of bee treatment and the cleanliness was not what most would consider clean. There were old/used toothbrushes in a drawer, clumps of dirt and dander visible in multiple rooms, dust gathered on the counters in the kitchen and bathrooms. We arrived early and were told the cleaning crew was still there so we didn’t expect to find it left that way. Other than the few things, our stay was great and we had 16 people that all said the same. We would book again if the issues were taken care of! Thanks for having us!

Needs maintenance

The shower in the master needs fixing…updates are definitely needed throughout. The property is beautiful and it was easy to find. Not many supplies in the kitchen. For the price it could have been better for sure.

Nice cabin and location.

Only real issue was there were no hot pads for taking stuff out of the oven when cooking for our large family. And there was dog food on the gameroom floor when we got there. Otherwise we had a great stay and the owners were great to work with. I was able to speak to someone when ever I called.

Family reunion

Great location - great property. Patio view is spectacular. The one and only complaint is the poor quality and lack of supply of pans and silverware. There were 6 forks for a property that holds something like 18 people. The property management was very helpful so I bet that issue is corrected before the next guest.

Disappointing

This cabin has the potential to be great. It was spacious enough for our group. The outdoor space was wonderful. However, the housekeeping is not up to par. Layers of dust and cobwebs were behind beds, the shower heads and coffee makers look as though they have never been cleaned, the pool table had dirt and debris all over the table, old toothpaste smeared on the wall of the master bedroom, 2 of the tvs didnt work, multpile items left behind from previous guest (pillow, clothing, stuffed animals), lamp patched together with eletrical tape, electric outlet cover broken. Not huge issues but enough for it to be noticeable and make you not want to return to this particular cabin.

Great cabin, close to Gatlinburg

Our group of 9 adults stayed at this cabin for three nights. It was ideal for that number of people thanks to the five bedrooms, each with their own bathroom. The outside covered porch area was wonderful. With a hot tub, fireplace, and plenty of seating, we were able to spend a lot of time there, even when it was raining. Plenty of firewood was provided. We also enjoyed the pool table and arcade games in the apartment. Some minor additions/changed would improve the property. The kitchen has modern appliances (with the exception of the dishwasher), but is not adequately outfitted for large parties. The house sleeps 18 people, but there were not enough coffee cups or silverware for the nine of us. The cleaning was inconsistent, with most of the house done well, but there were food remnants under one bed and cobwebs throughout, especially in the separate apartment. The wifi worked well in the main house, but was not available in the separate apartment. Phone reception was only possible by using the wifi, which is understandable due to the cabin's location. Overall, we were very comfortable. The house is convenient to Gatlinburg and there is a Food City grocery store just a few miles away. There is ample parking for 4-5 vehicles and the cabin's location is easy to access. We would stay here again.

Dirty

Upset with how dirty this place was. First day there a family member was using up stairs shower and the water was leaking into down stairs bathroom. Ceiling looked as if this had been going on for a while. Spider webs and bugs threw out the whole inside of the house. Dog hair, dirt and dust everywhere inside. Who ever cleans these places doesn't do a very good job

Family Trip

We enjoyed our trip and enjoyed the cabin. We loved the cabin and the layout. The driveway is pretty steep but not issues for the summer time. Everything is as described. The only issue I would say we had was the cobb webs inside everywhere. Otherwise, great place. We would stay again for sure.

Property management needs to hire a company that really cleans this house. The only thing clean were the beds sheets and towels. Ceiling fans, walls and windows and doors are full of dust. Toilets are old and have a yellow stain that looks like crap. Kitchen dishwasher is rustic and broken. House is big and great for big families with a lots of beds but when I’m paying for something I spect to be in good condition.

This cabin is perfect for a large group. There is a ramp that can be used although the cabin is not advertised as handicapped accessible. The cabin had very comfortable beds.

New Years Getaway

The property was very spacious. Bigger than the pictures. Beds were big and comfortable. Services from the property were prompt, easy and very pleasant. Will definitely return.
