Rustic Elegance

Impeccable cabin!! From the moment we walked in, our stay was perfect. This cabin is the ultimate in rustic elegance. It is a snap to get to from the highway, close to town, and in a setting that creates a tranquil ambiance that we very much needed. So many incidentals were provided for us. We will never stay anywhere else.

Great place

Awesome space, clean, great views from each deck. Activities for the kids. Very satisfied. Only downfall was there is very small space for parking (2 cars) so if you have more that 2 cars I’m not sure what you would do. Also the road is VERY busy.. lots of sports cars and construction vehicles (dump trucks/concrete/etc). They road is VERY windy to get to cabin not too far from downtown Gburg.

Family fun in the smokies.

This cabin was beautiful and everything I could have hoped for for our family getaway with slightly older kids. The chalet north pool view was amazing and bears walked right behind our table. The short driveway on the narrow busy mountain road might be scary with smaller kids or toddlers. Overall a wonderful experience! Would love to come again.

Great cabin!!

We love staying at the cabins in the mountains and this one has been our favorite so far!! Just wish the air conditioner would keep up in the upstairs and main floor. Will definitely keep this one in my favorites!!

Amazing Cabin!

Whiskey Bear Creek was so much more beautiful than the pictures even show! Great location, first cabin as you start going up the mountain. The living space was super cozy. Kitchen fully equipped- we cooked most of our meals with no problem. Bedrooms were nice and clean. Sauna was an amazing feature. We stayed in this cabin with three adults, and three small children and had a wonderful vacation.

Holiday family getaway!💕

Overall it was a great stay, this stay was very nice actually above what I expected. The cabin was very clean with all the necessities that I needed and more. Everything was in great working order. I would definitely recommend it to anyone without a doubt.

Even better than photos

I stayed at the property with family and it was excellent. The photos are good but the property is even better in person. Very clean, beautifully decorated, well stocked kitchen, and conveniently located to downtown Gatlinburg. Comfortable beds and spacious rooms. The owner answered questions quickly. It is located right off a relatively busy road. However, traffic is very minimal early mornings and late evenings. You can’t hear any traffic from the main areas in the cabin. I heard a few cars early morning from one of the bedrooms upstairs but it was not a big issue and definitely wouldn’t deter me from renting again.

***RENTERS BEWARE** Cabin has ROACHES and HOST is DISHONEST! VRBO does not care********** BEWARE!

10/18 booked for Nov travel to see the leaves changing as this was our first time coming To TN during this time & to make memories for our 2 small daughters. Needless to say the memories made were ones they will not forget & they were not good. On 10/21 I noticed a New Review on this property from a Christopher- it stated the place had roaches. Red flag so I reached out via VRBO inbox to ask Monika the property owner about it-actual messages-You sent a message Oct 21 "Hi there! We booked your beautiful cabin for 11.10 to 11.14, I just saw a new review stating the cabin has roaches. I am concerned, should we find another location?" her response- MONIKA sent a message Oct 21"Good morning, My cabin is always serviced by pest control every month.The customer left me a bad review after they damaged my cabin because they refused to pay for the damages.The cabin was built this year and it is brand new.I find it sad that instead of people having fun in my cabin that they can break my property and leave a bad review.Thanks for understanding, Happy to see you next month" my response back - trusting her word & being a person who trys to see the best in people - You sent a messageOct 21"Oh no I am so sorry and thank you for the reply. I saw your cabin in August when we were staying a little ways up the mountain on our family vacation. I wrote down the address and told my husband, next time we come we are staying there. The fact it was on the stream sold me and it looked new too. We LOVE Gatlinburg and come every 3 months. When I searched the address and name and saw it was available I was so excited. Booked right away. Of course I always check reviews and then saw that one came last night and it broke my heart. Thank you for explaining and we are looking forward to our stay😍".I should have went with my gut & cancelled but being someone who trys to be trusting we got burned.This place has roaches! She was contacted right away, stated to get hotel and will refund rest, NOTHING was available to accommodate us, after hurrying my girls out, looking at over 10 hotels,calling other cabin rentals nothing so we headed home.She stopped communicating. Sent her pics of the roaches,contacted VRBO!She still received FULL payment even after the property was misrepresented & we left before15hrs, she texted stating the property was treated the day before we came.She is dishonest!I can not attach pics here or would. She will respond with lies. I will pray for her. She stole!

Excellent!

My wife and I loved staying here for the weekend. It’s close to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Easy getting in and out despite lots of traffic. Next time we will stay longer and maybe bring the kids. Loved the nice tile showers and the hot tub!

Disappointed

My Family and I looked forward to our getaway for months. Upon arrival, the Cabin appeared to be what we expected. However, there were roaches found during our stay, predominantly in the kitchen and bathrooms. This came as a surprise given this was a newer Cabin. But this is not all. My mother-in-law sat down for breakfast on Saturday morning and the back of the log chair snapped. These were very heavy, pure wood chairs. It was obvious that before our stay, someone had damaged this. We also noticed on the coffee table in the living room, a coaster holder that was already broken. We did not even use these. Luckily, We always add property insurance to our stay which covered the $350+ dollars that was reported in damages. We didn't have anything to do with either. Not only this, as we prepared our dinner for Saturday evening, we were only able to cook our food on the outdoor grill for 10 minutes, before the propane tank ran out. We had to cook the rest of our food in the kitchen. We weren’t offered any refund and had received no response. Not the ideal weekend we’d expected.

Last-minute life-saver!

We had to cancel our original reservation at another property after the water was turned off DURING our stay, and miraculously we were able to switch to this cabin. Everything was just as described and exactly what we needed! The kids loved the game room downstairs, and I loved the enormous shower. Very clean and brand-new, which was nice to come back to after a day of hiking.

Family Fun Vacation

This sweet cabin was perfect for our family summer vacation. We wanted to try something new (no beach), and we were not disappointed. Gatlinburg was fun and beautiful and adventurous; and this was the perfect house for our trip. We would definitely VRBO this property again.

Cabin Stay

We enjoyed the cabin very much. I would have appreciated chairs in bedrooms & a chair with a reading light somewhere. Also someplace to sit my suitcase. It took us a few days to figure out that the fan remote in any bedroom controls the fans in the other rooms (fans would turn on and off in a room without you doing anything. They were right to warn people about steps

Beautiful home with all the amenities

We enjoyed our stay at the Whiskey Bear Creek. The whole house was beautifully done, spacious and updated with all new appliances and bathroom amenities. The road to the house is windy and steep, so be prepared for that trek to and from the cabin. My husband loves mountain roads so we did not find this to be an issue. There are 3 separate decks to sit out on to enjoy the lush greenery and the sound of the creek below. Would definitely recommend this property and would stay here again!

Good house but poor management.

Its a beautiful place and on arrival we saw lots of worms in the basement bed room and the play area.Property manager was informed and they immediately sent the cleaning crew and pest control sprayed for the worms and we had to change our schedule to accommodate the guy to come and clean. We had more worms next day as well on the basement bed .We informed the property manager and she said she would contact the pest control again and nothing was done after that she said she did her best. So we end up not using the basement bed room and we kept cleaning the place as soon a we come back every day. I would not go back to this place again.

Quiet and Relaxing

Very nice cabin! Clean and Comfy with plenty of sleeping space. Host of the cabin answered any and all questions very quickly. Close to downtown Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Would recommend anyone to rent this cabin, you will not be disappointed! We will be returning in the future!
