Basse Di Caldana: Maremma - Villa con piscina

It is situated in Southern Tuscany in the region of Maremma in the Province of Grosseto. In full countryside, yet only 20km away from the beautiful Tuscan coast. The nearest village, Caldana, for groceries and fresh produce is only 2km away. From the main road one turns off into a country road (not tarred) for 1km and right at the very end of the country road is the house with wrought iron electrical gates.

A covered car porch for 4 cars is immediately on the right entering the gate. The house has 3 bedrooms – 1 king-size bed with en-suite bathroom, 1queen-size bed, and 2 single beds.
Large lounge with 2 couches and a fireplace, kitchen/dining room with table which opens to sit 6 people. The kitchen if fully fitted with cabinets, oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and microwave, etc.

Both the kitchen and the lounge open out to a large covered porch which has a magnificent ceramic tile table with antique Iranian ceramic centrepiece for delightful meals in the shade or candlelight dinners.

To the left of the main house is a separate building which houses the laundry, the pool house and the barbecue. The pool is a rectangle of 10m x 4m x 1.5 m and is serviced weekly by pool specialists. The pool house is air conditioned and has a large fully equipped dining room/kitchen with fireplace, a bar for happy hours by the pool and a sofabed. The pool house is completely independent as it also has its own bathroom.

The buildings and the pool are surrounded by a well kept garden with trees, flowers and lawn.

If desired, a house keeper can be organised on a daily or weekly basis. Rental costs include electrical,gas and water consumption, use of the pool, bed linen and bathroom towel change once a week. Should change be required more frequently, this can be arranged at an extra cost of €10 per person per week.
