Deer-View Cabin - Remodeled Cabin with Spacious Yard and Cozy Living

***POWER BACK ON & WiFi**** Welcome to the Deer-View Cabin!

This cabin is a two bedroom, one bath, with an attached two car garage, nested on three acres of property. It is perfect for a family, couples, or friends for a weekend get away!

The pictures speak for themselves!! This newly remodeled cabin comes new leather furniture, in-house washer/dryer, electric fireplace and 55" TV with Roku capabilities.

Deer-View Cabin has the best location if you are looking for a busy all-season rental with lots of surrounding activities including:
- Pigeon Forest Country State Forest (hiking, mountain biking, hunting, fishing, wildlife viewing and more): 5 miles away or 5 minutes
- Otsego Resort (Golf/Skiing): 7.5 miles or 8 minutes
- Treetops Resort (Golf/Skiing): 7.9 miles or 9 minutes
- Snowmobile Rentals: 7.8 miles or 10 minutes
- Downtown Gaylord (Restaurants/Bars/Shopping): 8.6 miles or 11 minutes
- Sturgeon River Paddlesports: 29 miles or 29 minutes
- Mackinaw City: 66 miles or 1 hour
- Traverse City: 66 miles or 1 hour 20 minutes

If you get tired of the hustle and bustle, and just want to relax, it has a firepit in the backyard where endless stories and s'mores can be shared. If it is too cold outside, the living room and kitchen is designed for movie and card nights.

Please note: guests will have access to the garage for vehicle/motor sport use and storage. Also there are additional dining room chairs and leaf's for the table to expand for all guests to fit around the table.

Country living so expect country rodents. Even though we did not see any, we found evidence of them. Excited to park in the garage and not get buried under the snow. Great breakfast location up the road in Johannesburg.

Cute, clean and cozy place. Traveled for work training and was unable to secure a sitter for my older dogs, owner was accommodating letting me bring them. This was my first time using a short term rental. Semi traffic from the road was a bit loud at times with the windows open but with the windows closed and air conditioning on, it wasn’t loud at all (a/c which worked great). When I contacted the host for a couple of questions I had, she answered my call and got back with an answer very quickly. Would stay here again! Thanks for a great experience!

The cabin was a cozy place with a great wooded backyard. We saw many birds, a red fox and a porcupine. The host were very helpful and we had a great stay.

Elk sightings

Came up to the north country to see the beauty of the change in seasons, drive gravel roads, look for elk, golf the great courses, check out the off the beaten path watering holes and just get away from it all. The cabin was OK, thermostat kinda complicated but I made it work. Everything was in order in the kitchen, had a nice homey feel to it when I was there, all the tv stations one could want, had to search hard for the Fox football channel but I succeeded. All in all a good place but the morning traffic is a bit much. Sounded like some of those semi's were coming through the bed room. And was the bed spread. Thank you, Doug

We really enjoyed our time at the cabin. It was clean, well stocked, quiet and comfortable. Only about 10 minutes from Gaylord, so close and convenient when I needed to grab a couple things I forgot. We will absolutely be back!!
