Parking was terrible. Spaces were so small, it was painted for golf cart parking, not for vehicles. We had to walk down steep stairs with hand rails way too low, it did not feel safe at all. 7 digit code for door? Ridiculous. I paid for a “Lakefront” room, but out the front door of our room was nice view of the neighbor’s house next to the motel, had to make a turn walk to the end of deck to see the lake, that was a flat out lie. Especially after seeing there were actual LAKEFRONT rooms available. About 2:30 in the morning, awaken by people screaming and hollering in the lake/beach. 4 drunk college kids playing in the lake. Then in about 5 am, the front door swung open and woke me up. I went out to see there were 3 people by the lake smoking pot. There was no safety chain lock on the door and wonderful beam of light coming in between the door/jam gap, letting light and bugs in the room. There was no hair dryer, no microwave, no open outlets to plug in anything. Hotel manager calls to scream and yell on the phone for "throwing" towel at the housekeepers???!! When they came knocking to clean the room, I just asked for fresh towels and gathered the used ones by the front door to receive the clean ones. Manager had no skills or training to deal with customers.
Place was very cheaply built, not maintained, not cleaned, bugs everywhere in the room by hundreds, no security, very poor standards. Avoid Pete's trash hole, avoid Geneva on the Lake. Not worth a visit.
