“If you want old school charm...this is the place to go. It's a beautiful setting overlooking the river in Bracebridge. There are beautiful seating areas and the rooms all have balconies that look over the river. It's quiet, serene, peaceful. Although they don't have cable, they do have Netflix! “Judi breakfast lady on Saturday and Sunday stood out.
Despite being busy she gladly washed my Yetti cup for me with a smile every morning of our stay. Great service. Judi never stops where do you find such great staff.”

“I had to leave because the room was filthy and falling apart. The first room we went to has a hole the size of a human in the ceiling and was filthy. The toilet was broken and didn't have a toilet seat. They put us in another room where the front windows was smashed and taped back together. The smell of smoke and mold was so terrible I didn't want my 9 year old son to even sit in the room. We asked for a refund because the rooms were inhabitable for humans and honestly wouldn't keep my dogs in...

“My husband and I have stayed at this resort a number of times and usually have no issues. However this time I had bad experience. I used the hot tub on the first day we were there for less than a hour and by the next day my bathing suit went from black to brown. I told the receptionist and she just shrugged her shoulders. Disappointed in this response.”

“Good accommodation in great location. Room with lake veiw balcony was great. Some parts of room and hotel looking a bit dated. Had to ask for sofa bed to be made up, even though we had booked for 3 adults.
Breakfast area very busy at weekend.
Overall we had a good stay and would recommend.”
