Cottage a Gerton

“unable to contact owner when issue came up. if a kitchen is important during your stay this is probably not the place to stay”

“The property was very neat and the host was very accommodating. Unfortunately, we had something come up and were unable to stay through the night. This campground is highly recommended for anyone looking to get off grid for a few days.”

“This beautiful cottage is so perfectly located and beautifully appointed! Could not have been easier or better. Black Mountain, Montreat, Asheville -- you will see it all and stay in a convenient and super cute little house. Everything is new and nice and you'll love it!”

“We loved the sunset facing back porch and the indoor gas fireplace. The hosts were fantastic, they sent details about the place far ahead of our stay. The house was well equipped with things like a dishwasher, plenty of paper products and towels, smart lock that worked well, fully functional kitchen and a great AC system”

“Quaint and cozy cottage. Great for our long weekend stay. Thanks again!”

“We stayed here when dropping our child off for camp. The home was cozy and much better than simply staying at a hotel. The host was communicative and kind. Loved our stay!”

“The Country Girl Cottage is a peaceful hideaway behind the owner's home, nestled in beautiful, well-tended gardens. The front porch on the cottage is peaceful and wonderful for taking in the view of the gardens, reading, enjoying your morning coffee or your evening wine. The cottage itself is well-equipped and quaintly decorated with antique pieces and also a comfortable sofa for relaxing. The kitchen is small, but perfectly equipped for a weekend stay. We have now stayed at The Country Girl 4...

“This cottage was perfect for a last minute getaway. It was so clean and neat. There is everything you need available. Though we no longer have a fur baby, this place has everything set up for dogs you can think of. The owners have put a lot of thought and care into this rental. Black Mountain is a great town with so many restaurants and shops. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place to anyone!”

“Very clean nice central location and host was very friendly”

“Very cozy”

“This was great- exactly what we needed for the two of us plus one pup. Thank you!”

“Great location; everything was spotless and the kitchen was fully stocked; extra pet supplies were appreciated and the photos on the ‘pet board’ were a highlight!”

“Absolutely charming house and grounds. Very well stocked. For bird lovers, the birdsongs were wonderful. Lovely people. We walked to several restaurants and shops. We are definitely planning to return.”

“Nice private area and clean.”

“Just terrific on every level. Truly enjoy the stay.”

“Perfect quiet get away. Property was beautiful, well maintained. The guide in the home has other properties owned by the same company that also look adorable and relaxing. We enjoyed every minute”

“The only downside is the LP gas chargrill needs it's inside parts replaced or entire grill replacement. If your not into grilling then it's a mute point. Great place to enjoy the mountains of NC. Very nice accomodations, all you need to bring is your toothbrush. Super nice being beside the creek and very accessable to the trails of Old Fort.”
