“Wir haben uns hier enorm wohl gefühlt, die Zimmer und Anlage ist in einem sehr guten Zustand und wirklich sauber. Das Personal macht den Aufenthalt zu etwas ganz besonderem, extrem zuvorkommend, höflich und hilfsbereit rund um die Uhr - wir haben uns bestens aufgehoben gefühlt. Die Unterkunft hat einen perfekten ausblick von den balkons auf das Meer und wir empfanden es als sehr schön, dass man nicht mitten in der Stadt ist sondern sehr viel weniger Trubel um einen herum ist. “It was the most unpleasant stay in Sri Lanka and in general in several years traveling in Asia. The receptionist was totally unfriendly, just interested in getting us out out the hotel....and we understood why: some rooms were under renovation, so there was noise from early in the morning through the day. “I had a really wonderful time at Tabula Rasa. Felt like the staff couldn’t do enough to ensure my stay was perfect. The location is stunning. It is worth being located up hill in the peace and quiet, and so easy to pop out in a tuk tuk. The food was really good, I expected to eat out more but, I’d often crave the chef’s dhal! “Loved this little bit of paradise. The pool and view is the highlight, very quiet and tranquil, a great place to relax and unwind. Great food, fresh and very reasonable. Quiet remote but taxi or tuk tuk is easy to arrange via the reception. Rooms vary, some have better lake views than others, but very clean and well arranged and a good size. Only negative is that there is no mini-bar so no easy to keep you water and drinks called, although you can always get ice from the bar. Suits couples more...

“I can't imagine there being a better place in Galle. Peaceful. Quiet. Lovely owner. She was so nice to us, my wife was pregnant and even let us stay a bit longer whilst we waited for our taxi as she wasn't feeling well. What a lovely human being! We were welcomed with drinks and a hotel towel. Breakfast was amazing. Staff are really nice. Highly recommend.”
