Hotel a Girvan

“Beautiful location with lovely, comfortable accomodation. The night staff were very friendly, accomodation and helpful on our arrival. We felt very welcome. However the day time reception staff were quite abrupt and rude not only to us but we watched a few other guests get 'told off' for petty things. Was rather unfortunate to witness. It spoilt the mood immediately. The lounge area was so relaxing with gorgeous views. The pool area was nice and clean but the floors are quite smooth and slippy!”

“This was a great find for our party of 6 and in an excellent location in Girvan. The accommodation was wonderful with well furnished spacious rooms and the kitchen was well equipped. Lovely area for walking and for golf. The only slight negative were the mattresses which could have been firmer.”

“The hotel is in a lovely setting and the main house looks very charming. I had booked into the annexe into one of the express rooms. I arrived at 11 at night at Prestwick airport so was using the hotel as a stopping off location. The rooms are very basic and a little old fashioned, but clean and comfortable and excellent value for money. I had breakfast in the main part of the hotel which was very comfortable. I would certainly recommend the hotel.”

“Excellent, convenient location to stay during the Wigtown book festival. Particular highlight being the friendly, informative staff. We were delighted to experience the delicious Scottish breakfast each morning, ingredients sourced from local farms. ”
