Affascinante Pratt Lake Lakefront 2BR Cottage

Sulla sponda sud del lago Pratt, nella comunità di Gladwin, MI si trova il nostro divertente cottage rosso in stile lodge 2BR con banconi in granito in cucina e pino intrecciato su 50 piedi di facciata d'acqua. Prepara i tuoi costumi da bagno perché ne avrai bisogno in quanto la spiaggia di sabbia è fantastica per nuotare e giocare. Il lago Pratt è l'ideale per il tuo skiboat, sci d'acqua, tubi, pontone, kayak o moto d'acqua per giocare su tutti i 180 acri di Pratt Lake offre! Rilassati al tavolo da picnic o siediti e guarda il lago dal ponte. Prendi un libro e leggi nella sabbia. Goditi la spiaggia e le splendide viste sul lago Pratt. Prepara i tuoi "Smores" per il focolare all'aperto. Pesce dal molo di 40 piedi. Lancio della barca pubblica lungo la strada per il lancio di tutti i tuoi giocattoli. Tanto spazio per fissare la tua barca sul molo. Canoa e barca a remi incluse per l'uso. Acqua limpida - ottimo nuoto. La profondità dell'acqua sul nostro litorale aumenta gradualmente - buona per i bambini (ne abbiamo 4, quindi è attivamente usata!). Fondo fermo e pulito. Se ti piace pescare c'è una buona pesca in padella, al branzino e al luccio. Ogni anno vengono catturati anche alcuni walley. Se la pesca è dura, fai una gita al centro di Gladwin e colpisci lo stagno delle trote! Traffico leggero in barca tranne nei fine settimana festivi. Il nostro cottage fu costruito negli anni '20 ed era una delle cabine originali sul lago Pratt. Ha una cucina completa con granito e lavastoviglie con tutti i servizi di pentole / padelle / pentole, 1 bagno completo con pavimento piastrellato, un ampio soggiorno, pareti di pino in stile lodge. Pavimenti in legno scuro di bambù. Ci sono tre letti queen size con un divano letto. La vista della cucina / sala da pranzo / solarium molto aperta si affaccia su splendide viste sul lago.

Fantastico banco di sabbia per parcheggiare la barca per una sosta rilassante nel lago.

Goditi migliaia di acri di terra statale all'interno di miglia di strade asfaltate tranquille ideali per andare in bicicletta, ATV, caccia o camminare. Canoa intorno al lago al crepuscolo per l'osservazione della fauna selvatica. Cerca la nostra coppia riproduttiva di aquile calve o ascolta i lunatici nelle prime mattine del lago Pratt. Guarda il punto e potresti vedere il nostro cervo locale godersi l'acqua.

Giocare a golf in 10-15 minuti. 5 minuti dalla biblioteca pubblica.
6 miglia dal centro di Gladwin per lo shopping, 30 miglia da Houghton Lake, Midland e West Branch. 2. 5 ore da entrambi i maggiori sobborghi di Detroit e Grand Rapids. Eccellente gelateria con il famoso "Pigs Platter" di Gladwin entro 4 miglia da non perdere!

Pleasant place to stay

The cottage is just as charming as described. It's clean and comfortable. Be aware that there is no air conditioning, but there are fans available. We used the deck often to eat, read, and relax. There is a griddle grill on the deck as well as a full-service kitchen. Bring all of your own ingredients if you plan to cook. There was a little salt, pepper, some sugar packets, and some coffee (but no filters) in the cupboards. We took the rowboat out a couple of times. The oars are very old and wobbly but we managed just fine. The lake was busy on Sunday but quiet the rest of our stay. I didn't swim because the bottom of the lake is mushy after you walk out a little bit and I don't like that feeling. The neighbors were extremely nice, and it was quiet at night except for the loons, which were a delight to hear. The owner was very responsive, especially when we lost power due a storm on Tuesday afternoon. He had some flashlights delivered to the cottage that evening. He was very understanding when we decided to leave one day early (Wednesday) since the power wasn't expected to be back on until that night and it's so inconvenient to have no water to flush the toilets. All in all, it's a pleasant place in a lovely location.

Fun!

Super close to the water. Cute lake. Saw amazing northern lights and a meteor shower. The lake was are-able and my kid had a blast in the sand and beach water, but my kids (typically pool lovers) were not super willing to swim in the darker water. Still serene and pretty on the quiet lake. We did not have life jackets so did not do any boating. BYO lifejackets! House is charming, Had all we needed including ample towels. Cozy but spacious and bed were all very comfy! formcomfy!

We have been regulars here for good reason. Great place to enjoy family and entertain the kids without even leaving the property. House has everything you would need and easy check in/check out. Love this place.

Lake front cabin

Absolutely loved this property. My family of 6 had an amazing time! The cabin had everything and more. The lake was beautiful and my children ranging from ages 6-17 had an absolute blast. Locally had some of the best ice cream and pizza we have ever had. I give our stay 10/10. We will definitely be making a return visit!

Best vacation for the family

Absolutely love the updates done to the place since the last time we were there 10 years ago. Family loved the waterfront and appreciated the use of the floating dock. The neighbors were all very kind. The lake was fairly busy so we paddled in the beautiful mornings and watched the birds and jumping fish. Highly recommend

The best

Love the house, the location, the lake. House is very well kept. Love that there is both beach for the baby and deeper swimming for my two older kids without ever leaving the property. Lots of sandy bottom areas, good fishing-the complete package : ) we are already thinking about when we can come back.

Great cottage and lake!

The lake was awesome, its the perfect size too! There is a fun sand bar right out front of the house. Kayak out there and hang for the day. I love that it was dog friendly! Plently of wood for bonfires. It had everything we needed. The cottage was cute, cozy, and clean. Beds were very comfortable. Tom was a great host! Easy to communicate with, super easy check in as well. It was the perfect long weekend get away! What a great location. I cant wait to come back! Thanks!!! ☺️☺️

Gladwin Trip

Absolutely wonderful! Gracious host and the neighbors were super friendly! We saw bald eagles a family of loons and did some fishing and floating. Had a wonderful visit with my granddaughter! Thank you for opening your home to us!

So much fun!!

We are a family of 5 with three little boys (3,6,8) Thos vacation home was the perfect get away from us! The boys had so much fun playing in the lake and fishing off the dock! We saw bald eagles everyday, the sound of the loons on the lake was enchanting and the tiny Minos in the lake were fun to chase! The property was well maintained and clean with comfy beds and couches! We will be looking into renting again in the future!

Great swimming, nice views, and so many things to keep little ones entertained. Very clean, more sleep space than I anticipated. All in all, a wonderful experience-would definitely book again.

Amazing Property

Amazing home on beautiful lake. Home was clean, updated, offered all the essentials and than some, lots of options for sleeping, host was friendly & prompt. Views of lake from dining room table were breathtaking. We will definitely stay again. Photos listed are exactly what you will get in person. 10/10 stay amazing home & host!

Perfect quick getaway

This was a perfect quick getaway for me, my husband and our 3-year-old son. The house was comfortable for the three of us and they had the essentials we needed in the kitchen. I agree with another reviewer that more counter/storage space in the bathroom would be nice, but again, for a quick trip and only three of us, we managed just fine. I was slightly nervous that no A/C would be an issue, but with the ceiling fans and windows open, you really do get a nice breeze off the lake and it was very comfortable. The view of the lake and the beachfront were great! There were lots of beach toys for my son and the water was shallow enough and with a gradual drop-off for him to play all day! The canoe, row boat and kid kayak were a nice bonus for us to use. All-in-all it was a great Michigan summer getaway and would definitely come back!
