Bear Haven Cottage a Glen Lake Narrows

Bordato da un lato da National Seashore terreno, questo cottage mai-prima-affittato è recentemente ristrutturato e arredato. Cottage si trova alla confluenza dei laghi Big e Little Glen, dall'altra parte della strada dall'estremità meridionale dei Narrows. Le spiagge del lago Michigan sono appena in fondo alla strada, l'accesso pubblico a Glen Lakes si trova a breve distanza a piedi, e alcune delle migliori escursioni in bicicletta nel Midwest sono disponibili dal vostro vialetto.

Cammina il tuo kayak al ponte Narrows e salta. Inizia la tua corsa in casetta e si dirige in un giro facile al centro del villaggio di Glen Arbor dove si può prendere il Trail Heritage - o dirigersi a nord-est su MacFarlane per una passeggiata impegnativa oltre Ispiration Point e intorno Big Glen Lake al fiume Crystal e Traccia del patrimonio.

Cottage dispone di due camere da letto, due bagni e un portico schermato per l'estate. Cinque letti includono tre letti singoli nella seconda camera da letto e un letto king nella camera matrimoniale. C'è anche un comodo divano letto nella camera familiare.

Affitti sabato a sabato. Check in 4 PM - check out 10 AM. Casa vicino alle dune Sleeping Bear e al Dune Salita con i laghi Big e Little Glen dall'altra parte della strada. Noleggio barche a poca distanza. Portare i kayak e raggiungere l'accesso pubblico sul ponte Narrows.

Bicicletta eccellente dal cottage. Grandi colline circondano, tra cui MacFarlane e una serie di sette ascensioni su Benzonia, ma altrettanto possibile raggiungere il percorso bici Heritage Trail che si estende dall'impero a Good Harbor Bay senza una singola salita significativa in sella a Glen Arbor e alla cattura del percorso del patrimonio.

This home is much more than we expected. It’s beautifully decorated and was very clean. The owner was extremely easy to communicate with and wanted to ensure our stay was perfect. The leaves were starting to turn color which made driving just beautiful. Many nice beaches for rockhounding. Restaurants in town were really good and the coffee shop in the old mill was wonderful. Would definitely stay here again when in the area.

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin! We were very happy with the cleanliness of the house, which is especially important with a baby crawling around on the floor! We also found this location to be perfect for our visits to Sleeping Bear Dunes, Glen Arbor, Empire, etc all within a close drive. Cheryl was very communicative and had some great recommendations (playground rec was an A)! Would definitely stay here again

Great place at a fair price for the area. Place was Beautifully decorated and had all the amenities. Very clean and had nice beds and furniture Location is perfect! Close to sleeping bear dunes And Glen Arbor is 5 min away. Even Traverse City is a hour away.Great Lake view from rental too

Kitchen is fully equipped, no air conditioning, excellent proximity to Glen Arbor and the national lakeshore. We appreciated that garbage bags and dishwasher detergent were available in good quantities.

It was just okay. It is not "on a lake", just near. It is not 500 feet to access either. The king bed needs replacing. Super soft and lumpy. Very cheap, thin, scratchy towels.

Comfort at Glen Lake

We have been visiting the Sleeping Bear Dunes area for decades, and Bear Haven is one of the nicest cottages we have stayed in at Glen Lake. The cottage is honestly nicer than the pictures. Everything needed for a comfortable vacation is provided, including a well-stocked kitchen, linens, towels, coffee maker with filters, fans, pleasant eating areas, fenced in play area for children, and a decent view of Little Glen. The layout is perfect for two families, and the open floor plan is efficient and cozy. One feature that does not get noticed in the VRBO description is the screen porch with shade and pleasant breezes off the lake. This was an amazing place to read, visit, relax, or eat a snack. The host contacted us early on and then closer to our stay. All the information we needed to know was included and it made for a smooth arrival. A nice touch is a keyless entry pad on the front door and notification that the cottage was ready for occupancy earlier than 4:00. The lake can make rentals have a musty smell, but not here! Easy-to-open windows with screens and a recent remodel make for a clean, fresh cottage. One of our guests was a culinary chef, and he loved the kitchen. Fully stocked, spacious, and easy to use. Don’t hesitate to spend a week here with 5 minute drives to Glen Arbor, the National Park, the public dune climb, Glen Haven Beach, and more. A perfect location.

Excellent Location

We have been traveling to the Glen Arbor area for several years now and renting homes during the summer. This cottage has been our favorite thus far, it is exactly as described and in an excellent location near to all the recreation activities the area has to offer, especially Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. We especially enjoyed sitting out on the screened in porch in the evenings. Thank you for a great stay!

Amazing Vacation Stay!

Bear Haven is clean, cozy, and comfortable! The decor is inviting and the beds are very comfortable. Well stocked kitchen with all you need. A perfect location to do hiking, biking, boating! A nice place to stay at the end of each adventure we had!

College Friends’ Reunion

Perfect location for our annual fall reunion weekend! We enjoyed the local attractions, but even more the cozy living and dining rooms for our late night chats, comedy movie watching and daily breakfasts cooked together. The gas fireplace gave it an extra cozy vibe.

This property was very cute and cozy. It was a great location and communication with the host was great. I did find the beds to be very uncomfortable and there were some very dusty areas but overall it was an enjoyable stay!

Wonderful week

We loved our stay in Bear Haven Cottage. It is magnificently located at the Narrows of the Glen Lakes, with beautiful views. The house was clean, modern and roomy enough for our adult children to join us during the week. We beached on the big lake, boated on the Glens, shopped and ate in Glen Arbor & Leland and made S'mores over a fire in the backyard. It was a wonderful week.

Beautiful property. I so appreciated all the kitchen amenities such as sharp knives, pans, bowls, spices, pancake griddle even a potato masher. THANK YOU for this. Just came from NC and that VRBO was horrible and Bear Haven made appreciate these non-essentials.

We loved the location for winter hiking, checking out local restaurants and wineries/cideries. The cottage is super clean, bright, and has everything you need for a comfortable stay.

Perfect place for a visit to the Leelaneau peninsula… great spot by the Glen Lakes and the Sleeping Bear Dunes. Host’s check-in with us the morning after we arrived was nice and helpful! We’d stay here again.

Beautiful, spacious, spotless

We absolutely loved this trip. The house was truly spotless and also the most well- stocked rental I’ve ever stayed at. All of the kitchen amenities made me feel guilty that I wasn’t cooking more! The kids loved all the space in the backyard. Downtown Glen Arbor was just adorable, with more to do there than I’d expected. I had hoped we could bike there from the house but the road there is 40 mph with no bike lane. However, we never had an issue finding parking there even at prime dinner time. Great trip!
