“Very nice place! Carol is very nice - greeted me in the driveway, she keeps a really nice garden and takes good care of her property. The place is not big but everything we needed - two full bedrooms plus a decent-sized living area. And I enjoyed hanging out on the screened patio any time of day and taking in the natural habitat. It’s a little bit of a walk to parts of downtown - seems like more of a drive. I would definitely stay here again!”

“The most beautiful Mountain View, very secluded and perfect on the inside. Very comfortable bedding and soft blankets to rock under on the porch while you sip your coffee and watch the sunset.”

“The property was absolutely beautiful! We had a little trouble with the internet when we got there (from no fault of Barbie's of course). She went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and that we stayed in touch with out kiddos while away! I appreciate the cleanliness and the gorgeous decor of the Lakeside Haven. I would definitely return!”

“We just finished our third stay in this charming cottage in a secluded mountain cove, and it was a balm for the soul in these challenging times. What a perfect venue to celebrate my wife's birthday, sitting by the waterfall and soaking in the peace and tranquility of the cool mountain air. And to be serenaded by a Louisiana Water Thrush was the icing on the cake. ”

The front porch has plush oversize seating and a swing for morning coffee and late night relaxation with beautiful lighting. There was also a covered deck area steps away from the house that sat next to the creek which allowed you to stretch out and listed to the water and soak up nature. This cabin had just the right amount of rustic quality with modern finishes in the kitchen and...

“We loved our stay at Cattail Cottage. It was cozy, comfortable and close to the shops in Cashiers. There were several outdoor spaces to enjoy. The kitchen has a great coffee/tea bar and it was stocked with samples for your visit. The owner also left a snack basket that we throughly enjoyed. Checkout was a breeze! ”

All we wanted to do was relax on the couch and watch movies, sit on the porch and rock in the chairs then sit in the hot tub. We loved how big the bed was abd comy. It was everything we needed.
