“This is a guest house beside the owner's place. The room was clean and spacious and the weather at the end of March was so comfortable that we didn't have to switch on the AC at night. However, it did get very hot in the day so we opened the windows to let the hot air out. Also, a few very cute and friendly cats also live on the property. Loved the place!”

“If you are looking for a cheaper place to sleep and you are by yourself I think it’s ok! I stayed with my boyfriend and thought there was zero privacy. Walls were paper thin right next to some other rooms that had dogs barking. The bed made a very loud noise every time we moved to side. For hot water we had to keep the water very low and when my bf took a shower the water got cold. but again if you want to stay close to the volcano and want something cheap there are not too many options there...

“This is a gem of an Inn with the beach minutes away, so close that you can hear the waves! The property was clean and we had a balcony to sip our coffees in the morning. The location is excellent with the Hilo airport only about 30 minutes away and volcanos national park about 45 minutes. Andy was a great communicative host who gave us awesome recommendations of local places to see.”
