“My wife and I stayed at this property visiting one of her lifelong friends. Plumbing in the shower /tub did not work. We reached out to management and they said that's just how old plumbing is. However, I own multiple rent houses and deal with these issues often. It was not the old plumbing. It's a simple fix of replacing the spout for the shower tub complex to work. “We stayed there May 14-17, 2026. It was an impromptu stay and we were so lucky to have the Colorado Room……totally delightful, beautifully decorated, super-comfy twin beds (pushed together), but the biggest plus was the covered corner patio surrounded by lush gardens. Four course breakfasts in the garden area were charming and delicious. This is a “must-stay” inn to go to and enjoy.”

“Room was clean and well furnished. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We did not have the breakfast, nor use the hot tub. They did have a waterline break which inconvenienced us a bit but I work construction and have had to repair waterlines. Staff kept us informed and were very professional. “This property is such a beautiful and unique place to stay while visiting Santa Fe. It once belonged to the poet/writer Witter Bynner. Each of the 9 rooms is themed to the writer or one of his friends. We stayed in the DH Laurence room. It was complete with some of this DH’s books, as well as many other wonderful literary works to sample either in the lovely outdoor space or the the beautiful living room. “It’s extremely easy to stay here. They provide breakfast and essentially dinner, plus drinks each night with your stay. They are extremely accommodating. The beds are comfortable and we even had a Mountain View from our balcony. We drove in from Texas, with the stereotypical large truck and valet parked it for us without a scratch. (Note: you cannot navigate Santa Fe easily in a large vehicle, nor are most of the hotels accommodating of one of that size.) Everything was in an easy walking...
