Questa casa spaziosa e luminosa sul lungofiume può ospitare comodamente il tuo gruppo e ha molti posti a sedere nella grande zona giorno, pranzo e cucina. Una grande area recintata è l'ideale per portare i tuoi cagnolini e tutti amano il facile accesso al fiume nei mesi più caldi. Questa è la tua base di partenza per tutto, sia che tu stia cercando un weekend romantico rilassante nel centro benessere, avventure nella zona selvaggia o svago con la famiglia.

Costruito nel 2010 e completamente rinnovato nel 2018, troverete questa casa ben tenuta con tocchi di stile dietro ogni angolo. Opere d'arte locali uniche accuratamente selezionate adornano le pareti e l'attenzione ai dettagli mostra fino alle tende a tema montuoso! Altre finiture di fascia alta comprendono splendidi pavimenti in abete, banconi in granito, lavandino a grembiule e mobili in pelle. Il soggiorno, la sala da pranzo e la cucina si trovano in una grande sala con soffitti a volta e finestre dal pavimento al soffitto per portare il miglior punto culminante di tutti: la vista !! Due ampie camere da letto e un bagno completo al piano principale offrono un facile accesso per gli ospiti di tutte le età. I letti a castello in uno offrono la possibilità di ospitare fino a 4 persone e la seconda camera da letto con letto matrimoniale è l'ideale per le coppie. Al piano superiore, l'ampio soppalco ha ancora un altro letto matrimoniale con bagno privato dotato di cabina doccia e un futon se il vostro gruppo ha bisogno di un po 'più di spazio per dormire. Qui troverai tutti i comfort di casa, come lavastoviglie, TV HD, biblioteca di DVD, lavanderia e cucina completamente attrezzata.

Galena's Getaway è situato su quasi 2 ettari e mezzo di fiume, con percorsi naturalistici che serpeggiano attraverso la proprietà lungo le rive del fiume Skykomish e fino all'acqua. Goditi il nuoto, la pesca e altre attività ricreative in acqua direttamente dalla proprietà. Una corsa di cani completamente recintata nel cortile è un luogo perfetto per i tuoi compagni canini, se necessario. Sebbene la proprietà sia delimitata dall'autostrada 2, si sente un mondo lontano con solo il fiume e la serenità della natura nei tuoi panorami. Avrai anche un eccellente accesso alle attività ricreative in ogni direzione: Eagle Falls è una famosa buca per il nuoto a solo un miglio di distanza, Stevens Pass Mountain Resort con attività ricreative tutto l'anno (snowboard, sci, bici da discesa e sentieri escursionistici) è poco meno di 30 miglia est, escursioni, vie ferrate, avventure in acque bianche sono tutt'intorno!

We met family there for a winter stay. The property is beautiful. Amazing views from the deck, hot tub, and river. Yes there’s noise from street and train but the rest of the property made it worth it. The kitchen is well stocked and there is plenty of space for 4-6 adults. Loved the dog run- such a nice amenity. Owner was kind and responsive. Overall great stay- intend to back for a Summer trip some time to hike and explore!

What a great place! Son, mother, grandmother trip with dog. Plenty of space and we enjoyed the hot tub and the fire pit. It is right off main road with train nearby, but that is disclosed in listing. I slept with window open and while I heard the trains, it was not that disruptive. A few restaurants in Gold Bar and several hikes and water time were greatly enjoyed.

Great time!

Wonderful, cozy cabin...everything you could want/need for a very fun time. Beds comfy, plenty of seating. Train noise could keep little ones up.

Delightful respite

Amazing. My dog loved being able to chase her ball all over off-leash. The river is beautiful and so is all of the property. Would be great if you could get the state to move the highway so it doesn't disturb the peacefulness of the cabin. Enjoyed the hottub and the riverside seating areas.

The place is beautiful. The owner has it very well equipped, plenty of towels, kitchen gadgets, linens, even details like shampoo and conditioner. The place is quiet with beautiful and well kept outdoor area. Loved the doggies' pen, wished I had brought mine. The only detail is that it was a bit too hot the week that we came and there is not air conditioning, still it was bearable

Dog Friendly

Such a wonderful house and property! We made use of all of it! Kids loved the river. Dogs loved their ability to roam on the large lot. There was even a fully fenced dog run if your pooch can't be trusted on voice commands. Adults loved relaxing at the gazebo and listening to the river roll by. It was warm during our stay so we slept with the windows open. The bugs weren't an issue because of the screens but definitely pack earplugs for the highway and train noise. All in all it was a terrific stay!!

Place was really nice, kitchen and bathrooms had everything we needed. The real gem of this property is the outdoor space. Even though it was raining we spent hours outside under the covered space with the heater and were able to comfortably enjoy the fire pit.Everything was clean, organized and comfortable. In short, overall it was a very nice stay - beds were comfy, hot water was ample, spacious living room, nice hot tub, was able to stream live soccer matches, access to the river was great, and it was good for cooking and eating with a group. Cons were the huge glob of hair clogging the downstairs shower we had to extract with a bbq skewer, the incessantly beeping fire alarm we had to buy a 9V battery for (none in utility closet and we had to swap it out from the very very high ceiling, which was challenging without a ladder), and the lack of salt in the kitchen. Besides those things not being addressed, we had a pleasant time. Like all the other reviewers, bring ear plugs if you're sensitive, the train can get loud in the upstairs bedroom.

Exceptional mountain, river and forest views!

Well appointed cabin on the Skykomish river, with comfortable beds and large back yard abutting the river. The view from the large picture window at the back of the house is astonishingly beautiful! The house itself is clean, comfortable and cozy, although if you're planning on using the wood stove, bring a couple of bundles of firewood with you, as the property supplies only a small amount. The property sits just off the highway and across from train tracks, so there is traffic noise and occasional train rumblings. If you're looking for a quiet get away, this house may not suit your expectations, but the sound of the rushing river does a fairly decent job of masking some of the highway noise. We usually travel with earplugs on hand, so we were able to sleep without much disruption.

Ski Getaway!

Wonderful property, easy access to skiing, roomy accommodations and picturesque backdrop on the river. I saw several comments on the train and noise- barely noticeable if your family talks or like any volume level of music. My biggest “complaint” is that there wasn’t a step-by-step check-out guide with all expectations of guests. There was quite a bit of snow so finding the trash wasn’t easily accessible but totally doable. We saw a few inches of snow and enjoyed the view of the river and mountain from the hot tub. Would love to stay again.

Great cabin a few miles from Stevens Pass!

Great stay with friends who wanted to go snowboarding on Stevens pass! We had no signal and had a difficult time contacting host during our stay via text, but check in and check out procedures were very easy and well laid out for us to follow. Nice views of river as well during the daytime

cabin in the woods

The home is well maintained, and the property is beautiful. The gazeebo are outside is maintained nicely and there is plenty space in the yard to have a park like feeling. Although the property is on the river, you have to climb down a rocky hillside to access the water. .. and the rocks move, somewhat dangerous.. The house was well equipped with supplies, and there is a mini mart/gas station within a few miles away. The full wall of windows in the living room/ den lets in lots of light, but the windows really need to be cleaned to better enjoy the nature view... Also note, the train across the street runs many times during the night and is extremely loud. Earplugs would be helpful.. Overall it was a beautiful place.. plenty of furniture both inside and out..

Getaway

This place has all the amenities plus some! We loved the outdoor space! It was a really great place to stay! However, as others have mentioned the house itself is right off of hwy 2 and gets very loud. It should be mentioned because even at night time the traffic stays loud and there’s a train that comes by often. Since the cabin doesn’t have AC we left windows open making it pretty hard to sleep with the noise, the second night we kept the windows closed and that helped some. Earplugs aren’t normally something I use but there was some available which was nice and is only necessary at bed time. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.

Magical Family Weekend

Our family had a wonderful time here. We got to be outside around the fire and listen to the river the first night and then were blessed with a full day of snowing and got to enjoy the hot tub in the snow. Loved building a fire in the wood burning stove in the mornings. As others have said the traffic and train can be heard, we didn't mind it at all because we knew to expect it. We didn't need earplugs or anything like that. If you have more sound sensitive people in your group you would need to bring a white noise machine (they actual have ear plugs available if you need them).

Family Getaway

Stayed here for three nights so we could be near Stevens Pass. The cabin was about 30 minutes to the parking lot with rainy weather and snow the last 8 or so miles. The cabin is nice on the inside. The bedrooms are located on the same side as 2 so it can be noisy with the cars and the train tracks. I didn't find it to be too much for me to sleep through. The outside setup was awesome. I wish we had some dry days to take advantage of it more. There is a covered space down by the river and a pit. The hot tub was a nice addition as well. Would definitely come back.

Beautiful stay by the river, convenient for skiing & hiking!

We had a great stay! The home was cozy, in great condition, and spotless. The riverbank location with the view of the range and mountains was gorgeous. We were just 30min away from skiing at Stevens, very convenient. Lots of great hiking trails within a 10-30min drive. Also appreciated how dog-friendly it was, even including a dog yard. Bonfire pit by the river was wonderful. Pro tip: bring earplugs, or look for them in the kitchen pantry - the house is across the highway from an active railroad track, which is charming during the day but can be noisy at night if trains come through. Several came through our first night, but we found earplugs in the kitchen walk-in pantry during the second day, and didn't hear any the second night. Would love to come again in the summer!
