“This house was amazing. Incredible views. It was very clean with an updated kitchen and bathrooms. Our teenage kids loved the sauna, cold bath, hot tub and fitness gym. We all loved the incredible coffee maker. This is one of those rentals that is even nicer than the pictures make it appear. We stayed here for the first two nights of our week-long trip in Iceland and we used this to visit Reykjavik. The drive to/from Reykjavik was an easy 40 minutes, but we didn't mind it at all because...

There was a language barrier but anyone who is not Spanish can just use google translate and it is easy enough. We had full use of his flat including the kitchen etc. Cheaper alternative to hotels and a nicer option than hostels. ”

“This spotless, beautiful designer’s-eye property could not be better located for a Reykjavik visit. About ten minutes on foot to the Hallgrímskirkja, and from there you can walk the entire downtown all the way to the harbor area if you wish (as we did). There is a little park right across the street (bring your disc golf discs boys) which also houses the Kjarvalsstadir location of the National Museum—well worth a stop and also has a fantastic cafe. We even played the local frisbee golf course, which was very challenging. Very friendly area.. Easy location for the golden circle, and the south coast.”
