The room was incredibly cosy and comfortable, the food at the restaurant (highly recommend booking!) was absolutely delicious, and Isabelle made us feel so welcome and looked after. “We had a wonderful weekend here and can’t recommend it enough. Beautiful property lovingly restored. The owners were perfect hosts and the hotel and gardens are a calming oasis in the middle of town. We will try to visit Ghent again in a quieter time and will definitely head for the B&B The Verhaegen. ”
