Riverbend Resort is set against the backdrop of Smith Mountain Lake, Virginia, and features two distinct yurts designed to provide a serene escape into nature without forgoing the comforts of modern living. We are 20mins from the popular West Lake Center area and 20 min to downtown Roanoke.

The first yurt caters to families or small groups, offering two cozy double beds and a versatile futon for additional sleeping space. This yurt includes a full kitchen, equipped with modern appliances, making meal preparation a breeze. A full bathroom ensures convenience and comfort for all guests.

The second yurt is a haven of romance and relaxation, furnished with a luxurious California King bed. An en-suite bathroom accompanies, boasting a lavish soaking tub and a steam shower, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploration. Soft, ambient lighting, gas-log fireplace, and plush linens create an atmosphere of comfort and tranquility. Additionally, our waterfront setting provides unparalleled access to the lake, enhancing the beauty and recreational options available during your stay. However, with the beauty of this location comes the responsibility of water safety. Guests should be aware of the inherent risks associated with water activities, including the potential for flooding and drowning. We prioritize the safety of our guests and provide information and guidelines to help ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.

We invite our guests to embrace the natural setting with respect and caution, ensuring a harmonious stay that celebrates the splendor of Smith Mountain Lake while being mindful of the natural environment and its associated risks.
Noise levels must be kept strictly under 60 dBA (normal conversation volume) during the day. Music and/or excessive noise outdoors (i.e., yelling, bluetooth speakers, animal barking etc) must be kept to a respectful minimum at all times. Outdoor music is not permitted after 10PM. Guests must be mindful of their noise levels at all times.
Building quiet hours are strictly enforced from 10PM-7AM.
No smoking allowed. Evidence of smoking will be fined $1500 to cover the cost of smoke removal equipment and cleaning fees.
Pets are allowed in certain units with the paid pet fee. Unauthorized animals will be charged a fine of $250 and the cost of any additional cleaning or damages.
Parking is available, message us for details specific to your unit.
Parties / events, lack of decorum and disruptive noise will not be tolerated.
If the neighbors are disturbed, we reserve the right to ask the guest to vacate the premises with no refund.
Guests must maintain all property and furnishings in good order.
Guests may only use appliances for their intended use
Guests, other than those in the party provided, may not stay overnight in the property
All guests are the sole responsibility of the renter who made the reservation
Guests are not allowed to exceed the agreed upon occupancy limit
Guests are responsible for doing a walkthrough and reporting any damage upon entering the property
