“A beautiful lodge set on a wine farm, the building is wrapped around a swimming pool with the dining room and guest suites looking onto the pool and carefully tended garden. Food was excellent, staff attentive.”

“Amazing is the only word to describe our stay. From the moment that we entered until we drove away we were treated exceptionally by everyone. Even though we stayed during off season and there were not many people staying at the lodge, all services were available for us. The food at the restaurant was very delicious and the wait staff is second to none. Our only complaint was that the air conditioner in our room was exceptionally loud. We definitely recommend staying here.”

“Felt like a business hotel - no frills - but does all the basics right. Did not enjoy the smell of stale cigarette smoke in my bedroom. Breakfast was great - TV channels were good - lots of parking close to rooms. ”

“Have stayed in Upington several times before but first time we have stayed at Browns Manor. Fully deserves 4 star rating. A green oasis in the Kalahari - massive koi carp a reap bonus. Staff really kind and helpful. Nice clean pool with shaded area and loungers. Good quality breakfast included.”

“This is a lovely proprty, very quiet. We were the only guests in so we had a private pool. There is a very big step to get into the pool. There are a lot of ants. But otherwise everything was lovely.”

“Convenient property. Get an upstairs room if possible since you can hear people walking upstairs and talking. Price is reasonable so it gets 5 stars overall. Stayed here many years ago when they first opened. No breakfast due to COVID changes. Good wifi internet. Stairs are somewhat steep so not good if you have any disabilities.”

Tiny shower & toilet The staff extremely helpful, WiFi internment , Breakfast very expensive for the local money Beautiful setting , I would recommend this hotel to anyone , prices vary for the rooms The room was very clean , the place shuts down after 5 pm, & only cell phone contact is available Towels & bed linen of super quality There is a swimming pool & large gardens I would stay...
