“Albergo old England anche un po' tanto per i tempi, probabilmente a loro piace. Per noi turisti è un tuffo nella vita inglese. Tanta , troppa moquette, forse giustifica dal freddo che sicuramente è molto in inverno. Bagno con doccia eccellente, asciugacapelli, camera molto spaziosa, bella vista.”

“ci occorreva un soggiorno di passaggio in un tour della scozia in macchina, quindi siamo arrivati alle 18 e siamo ripartiti la mattina dopo alle 8. all'arrivo (fuori faceva -4) la stanza era gelida e la ragazza della reception, non il massimo in quanto a simpatia ed accoglienza, ha semplicemente detto: ops, ero convinta che fosse stato acceso il riscaldamento e l'ha acceso in quel momento...risultato, abbiamo dormito in tre nel matrimoniale per far stare la bambina al caldo. camera un po'...

“When arriving at the property it looked very dated so wasn’t sure what the rooms were going to be like. We were greeted by the host and was taken to our top floor room. It was clean and nicely decorated with a large comfortable bed with lovely pillows and bed linen. The bathroom was exceptional too, I couldn’t fault the room at all. The tea/coffee facilities were fabulous. I would highly recommend. ”

“Il luogo è lontano dai principali centri. Il bagno e la camera erano piccoli e poco puliti. Inadatto per famiglie con bambini Cortese lo staff anche se gli alimenti pubblicizzati per la colazione ( pain su chocolat/ croissant, tipici per gli italiani)non sono stati disponibili per ogni giorno. La struttura è decadente e avrebbe necessità di essere ristrutturata”

“We had a good one night stay here. The House is within a couple of blocks of both the bus and train stations. Just be aware that there is not an elevator; we dragged outer heavy bags up three flights. We were there in a beautiful summer Saturday night, so there was a lot of noise from parties down below; this is the only negative thing about this property and would likely not be as bad any other night of the week. There was a small well equipped kitchen on the third floor, but the second floor...

“We stayed here for one night on our family trip through Scotland. It was so clean and modern. We booked the family room which had two twin beds and a double. Plenty of room for me and my three adult children. The check went smooth. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Short walk to the castle and Victorian market. ”

“This is a great wee place to stay if you are stopping off or looking for some cheap and quick. The staff were amazing and super helpful. And offer use of the kitchen if I wanted to make some food. Honestly amazing! Also offered to make up a wee bag for breakfast as I was leaving early! I managed to get something before I left. Only thing I’ll say, the room could do a with a little TLC, the shower doors don’t close properly, the door handle is loose and the curtains need fixed slightly, but...

The room was beautiful and very clean, the bed was incredibly comfortable, the bathroom was very spacious and very nice! There was also a very stocked up welcome basket in the room.
